STOLITZ ONESHOTS

A Talk pt. 2

After Blitzø left the palace that night, Stolas couldn't help but cry. He really did just want to feel loved by somebody. Anybody.

He sat on the edge of his bed, elbows on his knees, head in his hands. Tears. So many tears. He had lost another one. Another person he cared about.

"Shit. Shit. Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!" he yelled, pulling on his feathers. Stolas had finally realized. He always just drives everyone away.

There was a knock at his door. "Dad?"

Octavia. Stolas quickly wiped the tears from his face and sat normally. "Yes, Via? Come on in," he said. He tried to speak cheerfully, but he couldn't. He was already upset before Blitzø came, but now it was unbearable.

Octavia entered the room. "Dad, are you okay?" she asked. Stolas smiled at her as she approached him.

"Yes, Via. I'm alright," he said with a smile. Octavia shook her head.

She hesitated before speaking. "Are you sure...? I heard you yelling. I saw him... he even said he fucked up. What happened?" she asked. She actually sounded like she was concerned for her father.

Stolas shook his head slightly. "It's nothing, Via. I'm alright. I'm sorry if I worried you," he said. Octavia sat next to her father on the bed.

"I know it's something. You can tell me. I won't judge you, dad," she said softly. Stolas shook his head, sighing.

"You'd have a hard time understanding. Plus, I don't think you'd want to hear about it anyway," he said. He stood up off of his bed.

Octavia raised an eyebrow and soon made a face of disgust, her mind going straight to the gutter.

She stood up as well. "Eww, dad!" she complained, before walking out of her father's room.

Stolas chuckled, a small smile creeping into his face. However, it quickly faded, and his eyes started to water again.

He sat back down on his bed, crying silently into his hands.

He really did just want some love from somebody, anybody. Genuine, real love that finally made him feel at least a little okay again.
