It's been a week since Umbridge has taken charge of Hogwarts. All week she has been making new rules, making our lives difficult, and questioning professors. On Wednesday, there were reporters here for her to be in the Daily Prophet. I've spent more time studying than seeing the boys but, in all honesty, I've been avoiding them because of these stupid nightmares I've been getting.
Blaise throws his arm over my shoulder as we lean against the wall. "I miss going to parties. I miss the fun we use to have. How times have changed," He states while holding his chest with his free hand, acting as if he is heartbroken causing me to laugh at him.
"You really can be dramatic you know. At least now there won't be any more fights or me having an excuse to run off with another random," I say, and he laughs while shaking his head at me.
Suddenly I feel my body getting pulled away from Blaise with force. I look around and notice Umbridge standing at a distance from us with her wand pointing at me. I look at Blaise with disbelief. Did she really just separate us? He only had his arm around me. She walks off proudly as I pick up my bag and grab Blaise's arm, walking to Divination.
We walk into class and sit at a table in the back of the classroom, where a crystal ball sits in the middle. I look around the room, hoping to find the boys but there's no sign of Mattheo, Enzo, or Theo, only Draco.
"Looking for Riddle?" Blaise drawls as he pulls out his book. "Don't think I haven't noticed how in every class you look for him. Or maybe it's Nott?"
I look up at Blaise who looks amused with himself. I push the crystal ball towards him, and it rolls onto his lap, wiping the amused look off his face.
"Don't start with this. I'm not looking for anyone. I haven't slept properly since these nightmares started," I explain and lay my head on the desk because I don't want to see his pitiful expression.
"You're having nightmares again? What about?" He asks quietly.
I face him but don't make eye contact as I notice him sit up straighter, giving me his full attention. "About Cedric and all the shit I got put through."
He squeezes my hand and gives me an apologetic look. "If you can't sleep then you can always come to my dorm like last time. You will have to be sneaky, but you can always have my bed and I can sleep on the floor." I give him a soft smile and squeeze his hand.
The door opens as Professor Trelawney is explaining about crystals. She goes quiet, along with the class as Professor Umbridge walks in with a clipboard and stands next to another Slytherin, not speaking a word. Professor Trelawney continues on about crystals when suddenly Umbridge walks up to her, in front of the class.
"Just one question, dear," Umbridge drawls, and Professor Trelawney stops talking and faces her. I sit up in my seat, along with everyone else. "You've been in this post how long, exactly?" She looks at Umbridge confused as the rest of us but doesn't speak a word.
