RINGGGG

"Good morning, class."

"Good morning Mr.K" the whole class replied.

"I want all of you guys to begin working on your research so I'll give you time in class today then the rest you'll have to find time to do. So please get with your partners."

I turned around to face James.

"Ok so here's the research I did"

I handed it to him and he actually took it. He was missing something. His usual jerkiness. After a few minutes, he handed it back.

"Here's what I did." He handed a printout of pictures of ISIS and Osama

"Ok, good. We could use these as visual aid."

He was still being rude but not directly. He wasn't saying anything hurtful to my face. That's progress, right? Right.

RING RINGGGG~

"Class dismissed but before leaving make sure you're on the same page as to where you'll be meeting for the project" Mr. K quickly added.

"I'll see you at the library at 5"

"Yeah, whatever"

With that, we went our separate ways.

At lunch, Sabrina and I sat
with our friends Jake and Ali. Sabrina and I met Ali two years ago during lunch and we both have known Jake since kindergarten.

"So how was everyone's day. Get excited we have one more hour to go!" Sabrina said.

"It was alright. So much homework, I have to meet James at the library" I complained.
"that's unfortunate" Sabrina laughed.

"It was ok" Jake and Ali said in unison.

"Wow do they spend way too much time together". Sabrina and I looked at each other saying.

As soon as I got home I got home I prayed and ate. After that I still had time so did some homework on my desk and when it was 4:30, I went downstairs looking for Hassan.

"Hassan! Hassannnn!"

Oh my God, where is this kid, he has to drop me off to the library. I run into our theatre room, knowing him I bet he's in there.

"Seriously, you were supposed to dro-

I was saying this as I was making my way into the room and when I got inside I saw that his friend from school was sitting besides him.

"Really!? You could've warned me!"

I run up the stairs so I'm out of sight.

"Sorry I thought mom told you."

"She isn't even home yet. Now get up so you can drop me off to the library"

"Gotcha sis"

I run to my room and grab my hijab. I don't know why I didn't just wear it earlier. Ugh! This wouldn't have happened. This is another reason having a brother is a pain.

* * *
I was at the library at 4:50 so I just did my homework waiting for James to show up.

How embarrassing! Has that happened to any of you hijabis out there? When you walk in front of a guy without a hijab! Well it sure has happened to me!

Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed, be sure to vote, comment, and share with others!
