The Misadventures of Team CEMN (A RWBY fanfic)

Chapter 1: Welcome to Beacon

Hey guys and gals, the author Chris here. I wanna thank you for reading this fanfic. Remember to vote, comment, follow me, kindly read my other stories and have an EPIC day. Before I begin the story, I am legally obligated to tell you I do not own RWBY, Monty Oum (rest his soul) does. Now... on to the story.

[A/N: This story will be mostly in Chris's POV. If it doesn't say whose POV it's in, then it will be Chris's POV]

I looked out the airship window. Wow, the view of Beacon Academy is gorgeous., I thought to myself. Suddenly Glynda Goodwitch appeared as a hologram and made the same speech she made when the famous teams RWBY and JNPR started Beacon Academy last year.

When Glynda disappeared, the ship was only minutes away from landing. When the airship landed, everyone got off and headed to the auditorium to hear Professor Ozpin speak to us. I was excited to be here at Beacon. I lived in vale all of my life and graduated Signal Academy after Runy Rose left. All of Signal saw the news report of her attempt to stop the robbery. It was so awesome.

When quiet settled over the auditorium, Glynda Goodwitch stepped up to the microphone. Glynda teaches Battle Class and is Headmaster Ozpin's second-in-command so to speak. She pushed her glasses up and began. "Welcome students to Beacon Academy, a prestigious school for training you to be Huntsmen and Huntresses."

She continued speaking but I was looking over at two guys and a girl who looked familiar. I suddenly realized who they were. One is Neo Politan, ex-bodyguard for Roman Torchwick. She stood there in grey pants, white knee-high boots, a brown shirt and white top shirt.

Neo had been part of Cinder Fall's crew, working as Roman Torchwick's bodyguard and cello thief. She carried around a parasol, which had a long, thin, rapier blade in the handle. A few notable things about Neo Politan was she was mute and only communicated through expressions, signing and a whiteboard and marker.

She is also as deadly as she is crazy, and she can be described as "murderous psycho chick". Neo's hair was half brown and half pink with white streaks. One of her eyes is brown and the other is pink. They change color as her mood changes around.

Next to her was Emerald. She had dark skin. She wore dark green and grey pants and had a belt with bolstered guns on either side.her top covered have her upper chest and exposed her stomach. She had brown eyes and pale green hair. Next to her was a male.

The male was named Mercury. He and Emerald always report to Cinder directly. While Emerald was a master thief, Mercury was both thief and muscle. He usually wears black pants with a blue stripe down each leg, a blue and black jacket, long gloves, and black shoes as opposed to Neo's brown loafers or Emerald's tan high heels.

They smiled and waved at me. I did the same and we turned back to the stage where Professor Ozpin was finishing his speech. "...and good luck to you all.", Ozpin said before Glynda came back to the mic and spoke.

"You will all sleep in the temporary dorm for all first-year students. Tomorrow we will meet at the cliff outside of the Emerald Forest to announce the teams for this year. Good luck to all of you.", she fisished and the two walked back to Ozpin's office to discuss school buisiness.
