"Hi there" he said, staring at me intently "uhmmm, do you work here?" He asked with his focus on me like laser beam
I smiled softly and responded "I own this little restaurant for now."
"Amazing..." the tone of his voice became softer "can we get something to eat, we're actually really hungry..." he asked politely
"I'm so sorry. We have nothing available at the moment. We sincerely apologize." I was really sorry in my words an in my heart
"But it's just 11:30pm" his friend cried out
"I'm so sorry, the kitchen closes by 11pm" I responded "and besides we have run out of food items, due to the pre planned birthday celebration going on." I added
I could see the disappointment written clearly on their faces, but my attention was needed, I quickly went to attend to the guests... so I had almost no idea the time they had left the premises.
'He's so fine!' I thought to myself, and after a while I left the restaurant with my brother, Jerry, trusting Malibu to handle the rest. Didn't see him again for a while.
                                            .....

About three weeks after that, I was scrolling through Instagram messages, and decided to check my "hidden request" messages and I saw a message that looked promising and it read "Hey, It's Kyle. I met you a couple weeks back at your restaurant. I'm having a party soon and want to know if you'd be willing to cater for about 40 people."
I paused! My eyes grew wide in excitement!
