(Hey guys! So I just noticed that I didn't put the picture of Lizzie's gown on the last chapter so I'm going to put it on this one. I hope you enjoy the chapter!!!!)

All week Fred has been bothering me on what has been in the package my dad sent me. Of course I wasn't going to tell or show him in case he asks me to the ball. "Why won't you just tell me what is in the package dammit!" Fred yelled one day.

"Maybe if you just asked me to the fucking ball you would find out asshole!" I yelled back having enough. You'd think your boyfriend would ask you to the ball but noooooo. Apparently they think that all is well and you'll assume that you're going with them. I walked into the Great Hall and sat down next to George.

"I have a huge question and favor to ask you," I said when I sat down.

"Shoot," He replied.

"So Fred is being a total git and didn't ask me to the ball. My plan was if he didn't ask me then I would see if you could go with me. If you aren't already going with someone else of course," I explained.

"Of course I will go with you Lizzie!" George said, "Although I might have to sleep with one eye open once Fred finds out that I'm taking you and not him."

"Well if he gets mad then I'll confront him about it. If he wasn't so oblivious then we wouldn't be in this situation," I replied and walked out of the Great Hall.

Two days went by and I've been ignoring Fred. Instead I've been talking to George and told him what color my dress was so he could get a suit accordingly. Yes I know this isn't prom but I grew up waiting for the day when I could actually go and this is the closest I'm going to get. "Are you and Fred over?" Kat asked as we were walking down the halls.

"No, why? Does he have a new girlfriend?" I asked.

"People are saying that he's taking Angelina Johnson to the Yule Ball. Is that true?"

"I don't know if it's true or not but I do know that George is taking me to the ball," I replied.

"Why? Isn't Ariel going to get mad that you're taking her man to the ball?"

"I'll send her an owl tonight and ask saying that we're just going as friends and that I'm pissed at Fred," I said simply and walked into potions. I completely forgot that I sat next to Fred in this class. I looked around to see if there were any other empty seats but alas none were available. I slumped my shoulders and sat down next to the incredibly attractive twin.

"Look who decided to show up now," He said.

"Oh shove it," I said, "If anyone's to be mad it's me at you."

"Why shouldn't I be mad at you? You're taking my own bloody twin to the ball? Did you get confused on who you were asking?"

"Are you calling me stupid? If I recall you're the one who didn't ask me to the ball," I hissed.

"IT'S IN FOUR BLOODY MONTHS ELIZABETH!" He yelled.

"SO WHAT! EVERYONE ELSE IN THE SCHOOL HAS THEIR FUCKING DATE," I screamed back.

"Oh yeah right," He said, "Oy, Lee, who are you taking to the ball?"

"I'm taking Kat, you know she is my girlfriend," Lee replied.

"See! Lee asked his bloody girlfriend to the ball already!"

"Does it really matter? I was going to ask you!"

"Yeah, the day before the fucking ball when it was already too late," I said and walked towards the door.

"So is this it then? Are we over?" He yelled after me.

I turned around, "WHY ANYTIME SOMEONE GETS INTO A FIGHT DOES THE OTHER ASSUME THAT THE RELATIONSHIP IS OVER!" I yelled and walked out.

I sat in my dorm just staring at the wall for a few hours. "What was the fucking scene about in potions?" Kat asked and threw her bag on her bed.

"Lets see, my boyfriend is a fucking asshole and is blaming me for what he should've done," I said.

"Maybe you should've given him a little time to ask," Kat said in a quiet voice. I stared at her for a second before leaving the room. Even my own best friend is on his side. I walked up to the boys dormitories and found the room that the 6th years are in and knocked on the door.

"Came to apologize?" Fred asked as he opened the door.

"No actually, I came to talk to your twin," I said and walked past him.

"George, I need to talk to you," I said and dragged him out of the room.

"What is it?" He asked when we got outside of the common room.

"Am I stupid for being mad a Fred about the ball thing," I asked.

"Well, I do agree that he should've asked sooner. But I also think that you could've given him a little more time to ask. He might've had a romantic way to ask you," He said.

"I doubt it," I replied and walked back into the common room. I walked up to the dorm again and pulled my dress out of its box.

"Have you sent the letter to Ariel yet?" Kat asked.

"No," I sighed forgetting that I was mad at her, "I'm just not feeling it today." I put the dress away and climbed into bed.
