(Hey guys! I'm so sorry to say this, but this is the last chapter of this story. I know I'm ending it short, but I'm just not happy writing this story anymore. I've waited a while to see if I got inspiration to continue writing the story, but it's just not there. I'm sorry guys and thank you for sticking with me for this long!)
Today is finally the day of the last challenge of the Triwizard Tournament. Fred and I walked down to the Quidditch Pitch clad in our Gryffindor attire in support of Harry. "Do you think he'll win?" Fred asked.
"Of course he will, he's Harry Potter," I said and walked into the stadium. Hagrid did a really good job at making it not look like the stadium at all, rather a really complex maze.
"Where should we sit?" Fred asked as we looked around. Almost every seat was full and the tournament didn't start until another half an hour.
"What about by Luna?" I asked.
Fred made a face, "Loony Lovegood? I'm not sure about that one."
"Don't be so mean! She's a nice girl and deserves to have some friends. Go sit with George if you don't want to sit with us," I said and when to sit by Luna. Fred sighed and followed suit.
"Hey Luna," I said when I sat down.
"Hello," She replied and made a face, "Your head is surrounded by wrackspurts."
"Wrackspurts? This girl is insane!" Fred whispered in my ear.
Before I could reply, Dumbledore started talking. I mostly zoned out and played with the hem of my skirt until I heard a cannon and all four athletes ran into the maze. The crowd around me was going crazy, in front of me was a first year Ravenclaw who was cheering for Cedric. Behind me a young Hufflepuff was cheering for Harry. Almost every stupid "love struck" girl was cheering for Krum, forgetting that he's about five or six years older than them, give or take a few years.
"Two galleons says Harry gets the cup," Fred said.
"Deal," I replied, "Four galleons Harry gets the cup and Fleur shoots up flames first."
Fred contemplated for a second. "Fine," he said and shook my hand.
What seemed like hours went by before something exciting happened. Red flames shot up from out of the maze and everybody in the stands moved to the edge of their seats to see who would be coming out of the maze. To my luck, and some people's dismay, Fleur was brought out of the maze.
"Looks like you owe me money," I said to Fred.
"Not yet, Harry still has to win," He replied.
"Elizabeth Black, come with me," Professor Moody said to me. I looked at Fred with a strange look on my face before getting up and rushing to catch up with the professor.
"What is it you want sir?" I asked. No response came from him.
I continued following him until we came close to an entrance to the maze that was blocked from anyone in the stand's view.
"What are we doing here?" I asked, starting to get a little freaked out.
"I want you to watch your little friend rush to his death," Moody said.
"Don't even try running," He said when I started to inch away, "I can have you dead in a heartbeat if you try such a thing."
He grabbed my arm and led me into the maze. I was confused what he meant by me watching Harry rush to his death. Surely nothing in the maze can be that bad, right? Moody led me down so many twists and turns that I couldn't keep up with what direction I had to go if I escaped. We finally came to an opening that had the Triwizard cup on a pedestal.
