After the events that unfolded at the port, a heavy cloud of sorrow hung over us. The loss of two valued allies cast a somber shadow, compelling us to retreat to the confines of the ship for a necessary conversation.

" Magath and I reached a decision to head towards Odiha. It wasn't as much a choice as it was the sole path that remained". Hange conveyed.

Erwin's voice held a note of regret as he spoke," I regret to say that there appears to be no viable means to salvage Liberio, your hometown".

Annie's strength faltered, causing her to sink to her knees," Then... if that's the case, I can no longer find a reason to continue this fight. I'm getting off".

Hange's words carried a gravity that hung heavy in the air," Even if the rumbling ceased right now, our efforts would fall short of averting the impending annihilation of Liberio and Marley. Magath comprehended this. Despite that, he placed his life on the line to pave a path for us.

The purpose behind his sacrifice wasn't confined to the welfare of Liberio or Marley," Hange continued, voice steady." It was driven by the desire to preserve even a single anonymous life—a life whose name he would never come to know".

" He wasn't the only one who embarked on this perilous path to help us". I interjected softly.

Curiosity and concern etched across Mikasa's features as she inquired " What are you referring to, Izzy ?".

" Shadis... I bore witness to him accompanying Magath into the vessel before the explosion engulfed them both. He was there too". I disclosed.

The emotions conveyed by our expressions ran the gamut from horror to profound grief.

" Dammit...". Jean muttered, his gaze fixed on the world outside the window.

A heavy, somber silence settled in the room until Annie's voice cut through, her eyes filled with tears.

" Let me pose the question once more. Could you bring yourself to end Eren's life ? If the responsibility of killing Eren fell upon me... Would you simply stand by and observe ? I've grown weary of this ceaseless conflict. I yearn for an end to these cycles of violence, not only amongst ourselves but even when it comes to Eren".

After this conversation, the remainder of our journey was primarily a period of respite, although my attention was largely dedicated to the well-being of Kenny and Levi. It wasn't until darkness enveloped the sky that we finally reached Odiha.

" It's eerily quiet". Hannes murmured, his gaze scanning the surroundings.

He was right; an unsettling tranquility hung in the air, akin to the hushed calm preceding an impending storm.

" Most likely, the populace of Odiha has sought refuge to the south. The exodus appears to have extended to the ships as well". Observed Miss Kiyomi.

" In that case, the time has arrived to formally make our request. Lady Azumabito, prior to the rumbling crosses those mountains... We will have the flying boat in the sky, not matter what it takes". Declared Hange.
