I walked into work not feeling the day today. I didn't get as much sleep as I wanted and the day was just slow. I clocked in and put on your apron before heading behind the counter to make the same coffees made every other day.

I sigh deeply as a customer you have never seen before walks in. I didn't notice the man as I was setting up the machine to take his order.

"Hello, how may I take your order?" I sighed before finally looking up at him.

He was with two other men, one holding the camera at the other and the other fooling around. You focus your attention to the man in front of you feeling a little nervous.

He looks up at the board and orders what he likes. He then turns around and tells the other two men behind him to order. 

As they ordered, I jotted down what they ordered and went back to make their order. I couldn't help but eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Tanner stop fooling around." The man with the camera says.

Tanner laughed as he put his arm on the man who ordered first and faced the camera.

"Nick did you ask if Isaac and Yumi wanted anything before we went inside?" He says looking at him.

Nick shakes his head, "Should I?" 

Tanner looks at him like he had two heads, "Of course you should. I'll go with you."

Nick nods his head as they walk out talking about other things but by then you couldn't hear them. I turned back around holding the food and put them on the counter for the man. As I watched him pay and made sure it went through, his friends came back helping him grab the food.

"Thank you for coming and have a nice day!" I smiled feeling a little better. 

He smiles back and takes the food back to the car that they drove to get here. As I took the next order I noticed the man coming back looking a little more nervous. He stood by the corner and waited until I was done.

Once the lady in front of you paid and left, he walked up to me looking out the window. My eyes follow where he looks as you see his friends cheering him on for something that you have no idea about.

"So.. I think you're cute and I wanted to know if I could get your number." He said softly looking in my eyes.

I felt my face get warm as I take in every word he said. I looked at him for what seems like an eternity until realizing what he meant.

"O-oh yeah!" I stuttered softly.

He took out his phone and handed it to me allowing me to put in my number. Once I finished I handed his phone back to him, smiling uncontrollably.

"I'm Larry by the way." He smiled.

"I'm y/n" I smiled back as your face gets a bit warmer. 

"Well I'll text you." He said and walked out the door to his friends.

I watched as they hype him up from getting my number. I giggled softly, tucking my hair behind my ear. My coworker walked up and smiled at me as I realized she watched the whole thing.

"Okay y/n I see you." She grinned, playfully bumping into me.

I rolled my eyes looking at her trying to hide the fact that I was blushing. I got back to taking orders while thinking about what happened.
