Rain poured relentlessly over the sprawling grounds of the majestic mansion named Eclair, shrouding the estate in an impenetrable curtain of water. Lightning flashed, briefly illuminating the somber silhouette of the mansion against the dark, foreboding sky.
In a distant corner of the estate, a lone figure clutched a worn photograph in trembling hands, standing amidst the rain.
Inside the mansion, a widow wept inconsolably.
"Why did you leave me, Hassan? How can I bear this pain alone?"
Her sobs echoed through the grand halls, resonating with the mournful thunder that reverberated outside. The death of her beloved husband had left an indelible void in her heart. She had no solace as the storm raged on, mirroring the tempestuous turmoil within her.
Mubin, a figure familiar to the family, watched in silence from afar, the weight of his grief hidden beneath the mask of stoicism.
"I wish I could find the right words to explain everything to you, but the pain we had felt is unimaginable," he murmured to himself.
"..perhaps the least I can say right now.."
"I'm sorry."
