I ripped my clothes off and hop into my shower. The water was hot and the mirrors were already covered in condensation.
The hot water falling onto my body puts me at ease.
All my tears being washed away.

Walking into my room after my shower was cold. Weirdly enough, it wasn't that bad. It was calming, and sweet.
My towel rapped around me, still warm from the water dripping off me.
I pick up a oversized hoodie and some shorts.
After putting them on I plopped down onto my bed. Under the warm covers, waiting to fall asleep.
I hear a knock on my door, then I hear it open.
The light from outside my room pours in.
I hear a soft and loving voice speak out to me, "you should eat something. I don't want you to go to bed hungry."
"I'm not really that hungry, mom."
"Alright sweetheart, I'll see you in the morning sweet dreams."
"Sweet dreams."
I've never really told my mom I love her. Actually, now that I think about it my whole family's never really said it. I guess it's just common sense for us, so we don't need to be reminded that we're still loved.
I get out of bed and walk downstairs to eat something.
Mom's right, I shouldn't go to bed hungry.
