The grand theatre project was nearing its completion, and an air of excitement filled the atmosphere. The walls were adorned with intricate designs, the stage was set to be a masterpiece, and the overall ambiance was a symphony of artistic brilliance. Amidst the final touches and preparations, the entire team was appreciating the result they have achieved,
"It's good to see my design come to life," Arjun remarked casually, his eyes glancing over the stunning stage setup.
Shiv, who had been meticulously overseeing the placement of ornate fixtures, paused and shot a skeptical look at Arjun. "Your design? Last I checked, we were a team working on this project together."
Arjun raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. "Yes, a team where I'm the head, and you're the second-in-command."
Shiv's nostrils flared ever so slightly as she straightened up. "Head? That's a pretty big word, considering we've been partners throughout the project."
Neil, Arjun's close friend and a fellow architect, observed the exchange with a grin. He leaned over to the other architect, who was also witnessing the banter, and whispered, "Looks like we're in for a show."
Arjun leaned against a nearby pillar, a smug smile playing on his lips. "Well, Shiv, let's be honest here. I came up with the initial concept, and you executed it. There's a clear distinction."
Shiv's eyes sparked with a mix of determination and defiance. "Concept is just one part of it. Execution is where the real magic happens. Without my meticulous attention to detail, your 'concept' wouldn't be worth much."
Neil chuckled softly, thoroughly entertained by the exchange. "And just when I thought, we all can go home early."
The other architects nodded in agreement, no one could tell how long they'll stretch their arguments.
Arjun's grin widened. "Oh, don't get me wrong. I value your contributions, Miss Mathur. But let's not kid ourselves about who holds the reins."
Shiv's lips curled into a challenging smile. "You are not getting away with this,"
Neil and the other architects exchanged amused glances, nodding in approval. "This is the most heated argument this stage will ever see," Neil whispered. Then he stood up from the chair and tried to lighten the mood, he spoke, "In the name of team spirit, we all are heading to the bar nearby, as team heads you both should join us." It was a brilliant play on Neil's part, he knew well enough that both Shiv and Arjun would rather leave then get stuck in some office dinner.
"That's a great idea, but I'm afraid I have to excuse myself from it," Shiv began, just like she always does. "Have fun guys," she called out to the rest of the team and scurried away.
Arjun wasn't one for making excuses, he simply picked up his phone and walked out, ignoring everybody else.
