Somewhere Unknown...

A man with a masked face stood in front of a blazing fire, watching it consume a photograph.
The wedding photo of Maan and Ruhanika.

He stared at the flames with cruel satisfaction.

"She was never meant to be his... Yet that bastard touched her. He fucked her," he spat with venom, his voice laced in filth.

"But it's okay. It's never too late."

He grinned behind the mask.

"Very soon... this beauty will be under me."
He licked his lips slowly.
"How tasty she must be... Ruhanika, my jaan. Just wait and watch."

Later...

Beep.
Rooh's phone buzzed.

It was from Maan.

Maan: Rooh, I have a surprise for you. Be ready by evening. I'll send the driver for you.

Rooh: ILUUUUUUUUUUU 🥰

Maan: Cute. Bye, take care wife. See you soon.

Ruhi's POV

"Date!"
My heart did a flip.
What do I wear? Traditional? Or something bold and sexy? Hmm...

"Ruhanika baby, think..." I mumbled, pacing in front of my wardrobe.

Then a wicked grin danced on my lips.
"That deep-cut saree... yes! Maan is definitely going to drool today. Hehehehe..."

She got ready, draped in a gorgeous saree—dark, sensual, with a blouse that showed just enough of her soft curves to make hearts race. She applied light makeup, just enough to let her natural glow shine.

Honk.

The car had arrived.

She quickly told the house help, "Aunty, I'm heading out! Maan's driver's here."

She stepped out and asked the driver, "Bhaiya, did Mr. Rajvansh send you?"

"Ji, madam," he said, opening the backseat.

She smiled and sat inside.

They drove deep... far deeper than she expected. Through narrow roads. Past tall trees. Into silence.

The car halted in front of a mansion surrounded by forest.

Her heart beat unevenly.
Something didn't feel right.

But she shook the thought away.

"Maan planned this. He wouldn't do anything to hurt me."

She stepped in.

The door creaked.

Pitch black.
A darkness that swallowed everything.

"...Maaann?" she whispered softly, fear wrapping around her voice.

Suddenly, she felt a presence behind her. A breath. A shadow.

She turned sharply.

Meanwhile...

Maan opened the door to their home.

The lights were dimmed more than usual.

"Rooh?" he called out.
Silence.

Confused, he walked further inside.

One of the house helps approached him.

"Beta... Ruhanika said she was going with you," the woman said kindly.

"With me?" Maan's voice cracked. "I... I was at the office the whole time. What are you saying, aunty?"

"She looked so happy, beta. All dressed up. Saree... she was glowing."

His blood ran cold.

Someone else had sent the car.
Someone had tricked her.

He grabbed his phone. Dialed her number.
No response.

Another attempt. Voicemail.

His hands were shaking.

Sweat. Guilt. Fear. Rage.

"Rooh, I'll find you," he whispered, his voice filled with dread.
"I promise. Just hold on, bacha."

He stormed out. The air felt heavier than ever.
Time was running out.
