Greengrass Manor

Daphne woke up the following morning wondering how everyone was doing but mostly Harry as he now had to go back to living with the people he dreades the most. When she had got changed and checked the time she made her way down for breakfast.

When she entered the atmosphere was a lot quieter than usual. Even though she hadn't been there for nearly a year she couls tell something was off because last night they were all happy that they could spend time as a family again.

"Father what is wrong?" Her father then tossed her the daily prophet. She read the headline and she already could tell something was wrong. 'POTTERS IN TROUBLE?'

It has come to our attention that James Potter was murderd at exactly 10:16 PM yesterday on the 26th of June. They are still investigating on who had killed James Potter but there are security measures on the house which means that the wards will only allow Potters or people that a Potter has told about the were abouts of Potter Manor.

That is not the only drama that has happened it appears that the eldest Potter twin Harry Potter has ran away from home. The ministry believe that it was none over that Sirius Blacl cousin to Belatrix Lestrange. They think that Black let in the two death eaters because the Potters mistreated their own son. On the other hand Lily Potter claims that her own son was one of the two death eaters but the ministry would have been looking for him.

But to break the news even more after Lord Potters body was discovered many aurors and other people were came to assess the situation and one of them were the potions master at Hogwarts Professor Snape. He claims that he saw the young Potter boy arrive at Malfoy Mannor at 10:03 when he leaving after attending a feast the Malfoys held. We sent an auror there and there was young Harry Potter with the young Malfoy heir. So have the Lady Potter and Lord Black plotted Lord Potters death or did someone else betray the Potter Lord.

Daphne put the paper down in shock. "Father you don't think the dark lord is back do you?"

"Daphne I honestly have no clue but thos could lead to what we all fear a second wizarding war. If it does I won't make the same mistake as last time and join the side that is strongest. That way my daughters will stay safe." He shot her two daughters a sad smile.

"I can't wait to get my hogwarts letter so I can tease Daph in front of her boyfriend." Astoria said breaking tje silence.

Daphne blushed and started defending herself. "I don't have a boyfriend tori so I have no clue what you are on about."

"He may not be your boyfriend but you definitely like him." Daphne started to blush more causing her mother to step in.

"Alright that is enough now you two before I have to remind you of what you said about Draco when you were younger Astoria." Now it was Astorias to blush red leaving her sister laughing.

Daphne finished her breakfast and then ran upstairs and into her bedroom to find an elf in her room. "Who are you?" She asked raising her wand.

"Me is Dobby ma'am and I have come to deliver a letter." The elf called Dobby said.

"Can I have the letter please?" She asked.

"Dobby has never been talked to like that before." He handed over the letter almost crying.

"Let me guess your master isn't very nice to you." The elf shivered at her words.

"Especially after he came Dobby has felt like he has done everything. Oh the way he looks at me and makes threats saying he will rip off my head and put it with the mu- bad word like the filth I am." Daphne couldn't believe it she recognised the elf now which meant that the elf was the Malfoys. At first thought she thought it might have been Harry but Harry had only been there a night.
