Chapter 16

Slytherin Castle

It has been six years since Harry returned to Hogwarts and is now 21 living with Daphne, who recently gave birth to a set of twins, Harry had hardly made any moves apart from minor raids and things like that.

It was Christmas day and Harry was very agitated, he kept on dropping the firewhiskey, pacing around rooms all the time and would always zone out mid conversation. Harry had spent half the day with the Greengrass family and the other at home with Daphne and the twins.

He was currently stood on the balcony overlooking the forest, it was coated in a thin layer of snow which glinted as the moonlight collided with it. He was in deep thoughts as he fealt a pair of arms wrap around his waist, he turned around for his eyes to meet a bright green pair of eyes.

Daphne then joined him looking at the forest when she noticed a solitary tear on Harry's cheek. "You alright Love, you have been a bit off today, whatever it is I can help you." She placed her hand in his and smiled up at him.

Harry looked down at her and didn't smile but showed signs of weakness. "I... I don't know where to start, but from all I know is we lose our children if my memory is correct, we also end up absolutely tearing the universe to shreds, b... But I just don't see why I would do it, yes I want to be powerful but what is the cost if there is no life." Daphne was shocked that this was the first time she was hearing about this, she felt sad but also confused about why Harry was so upset.

She tightened the grip on his hand and made him look at her. "Harry look at me, fate may sometimes decide the outcome of events, but it can't change the present, so all you need to do, is do what is right in the present and the future will fall into your hands. Trust me." She the pressed a light kiss to his lips and led him back inside.

Harry soon found himself in his bedroom lying down next to his sleeping wife. But Harry was quite the opposite of asleep, his brain was asking more and more questions as the seconds ticked by, but after an hour or two he finally gave in and fell asleep.

It was a cold day when he rose from his sleep the next morning but he wasn't complaining as he always liked the cold, he thought that the pain of the cold was nice. He arrived in the kitchen to find Daphne feeding Bella and Salazar. "Morning." He said as he sat next to his wife. "When's everyone arriving Daph?" Harry asked.

"About an hour or two so I suggest you get ready before they get here." He walked into the bathroom and took a shower and put on some clothes.

He now found himself in a room with his school friends, Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Astoria Greengrass, Hadrian Black, Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson. They talked about what was going on in the wizarding world and how the muggles have found out about their complete existence. It happened when some 6th year got attacked on the way to the platform and someone filmed it and put it online. It affected everyone apart from Harry Potter, the one who could just end their entire existence by declaring war on them. He had only done a few attacks on people, but since he had left Hogwarts, he saw no need for an army so he just told them to go live their lives whilst they could.

Daphne had noticed that it wasn't just Harry who was acting strange, it was also Draco, she new that he lived alone but she just didn't know why. She was sure that he would get with Pansy but no he just left Hogwarts and ort of isolated himself from everyone he was good friends with. "Draco you have been quiet lately, you sure you don't need to stay here for a bit longer so you can have some extra company?" 

"Yes I would like that thank you." She only just noticed that for a split second Harry's face changed from a smile to face of realisation. They continued talking until it was ten and everyone left, Harry as showing Draco to the room he would be staying in whilst the others were leaving with Daphne showing them the way out.
