It's been almost a month since the dusk premiere, and things were finally starting to get back to normal for Niyah

Or more like she was trying to make it seem that way

"Niyah, for the last time dating a vampire isn't the worst thing in the world, you know,"

"You're only saying that because you are a vampire," niyah said, shooting Erica a look

"Wha- okay, fine, but I'm right. I mean, tell me what's so bad about dating a vampire,"

"It's just...what if he tries to eat me huh what then?"

"Niyah... how many times do I have to tell you RORY IS NOT GOING TO EAT YOU!" Erica whisper yelled

"Don't be so sure."

Niyah turns around to see Rory with a smirk on his face

"You scared me," Niyah says, giggling as Rory pulls her by the waist into a hug and starts kissing her

"My cue to leave," Erica says before walking off

"Bye eri-," niyah tries to say quickly after pulling away from Rory, but Erica is long gone

"Okay, Ror, I was thinking tonight we could stay at your place and play some games o-or watch a movie? Whatever you want, " Niyah said nervously.

Rory always thought it was cute when Niyah would ramble

Even though her and Rory had been dating for almost a month, Niyah still felt awkward about dating Rory, who she still couldn't really believe was a vampire.

She was secretly waiting for the cameramen to come out and reveal the whole thing was just a sick joke. Niyah couldn't believe that she had a real boyfriend who wasn't just a character she made up in her head.

She really liked Rory, but it was hard to go on dates and actually spend time with each other outside of school because of how strict Niyahs mom was.

Rory, on the other hand, was head over heels in love. He thought Niyah was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen,  I mean, this was his first serious relationship, and he'd never felt so strongly about a girl before
Maybe it was the vampire hormones making him this way

I mean yea he's thought about kissing girls and stuff. But with Niyah, it was different for him

Like he wanted to protect her from everything and would kill anything that tried to hurt her

And he would always try to make her laugh or at least smile even if he looked dumb he didn't care

He could look at her all day and never get tired or bored
