The Golden Rule

All members must abide by the golden rule: Do unto others as you would have done unto you.

What does this mean?

- Provide thoughtful comments and reviews in good faith.

- Accept your thoughtful comments and reviews in kind.

- Take a moment to absorb your feedback, and choose to respond without being reactionary.

- Don't try to explain away someone's critique; Maybe something you thought was very obvious might not actually be clear to your reader; Consider how to help your reader out.

While we encourage accepting other people's viewpoints, if you feel that someone is leaving feedback that is needlessly harsh or cruel, please contact Ara (@greatblueheron) and/or Lucy (@Lucyface).

We are not in kindergarten - don't pull anyone's hair, even if you like them. Especially if you like them (unless you have pre-approved nemesis status, see: @eliciahyder and @Lucyface).

Ultimately, we all want the CBC to be a helpful learning experience for everyone, so do your best to make that possible!

To acknowledge that you've read, understood and agreed with what's been said so far, please vote for this chapter (press that little star). And, just so it's out of our systems, please make a really nasty, but also non-violent/non-threatening comment (directed at the proverbial 'you') >:D
