The raindrops hit the ground louder and louder. It didn't look like the rain would ever stop. The sun set and darkened the sky. I walked slowly, down the dark, deserted street with my arms wrapped around my body to try and keep some of the warmth in.. Thoughts of fear and anxiety filled my mind, and I was afraid of what might be lurking in the shadows. My footsteps echoing through the night as a gentle breeze blew in from the east. I was filled with dread and fear as I ventures out into the dark, unknown world.
The loneliness of the night is crushing, but I was determined to find a way forward. The shadows around me seem to move and take on different forms. Every noise in the distance seems louder than it should be. I was feeling the cold air against my face and the wind blowing in my hair. I looked up at the stars, the moon, the night sky and I thought about the events of that day, things that had happened to me, and what they meant. I thought about the pain of my past and the hardships they had brought.
The moonlight illuminated the path that I followed. I knew i shouldn't be out so late, but I felt the need to get away from my own thoughts. I continued to walk in the peace of the night, even though water was pouring from my clothes, trying hard to block out the memories that haunted me during the day.
I was running away from my problems, but they were catching up with me quickly. I looked to my phone, but there was no one to text. I looked around feeling lonely, hoping to find someone to spend my lonely night with. I walked and walked, but found nothing. The city was cold and silent, and my heart felt more empty with each step. I walked through the dim streets of the quiet and isolated town. Every sound I heard made me flinch, as if I was expecting someone to jump out at me at any moment. Even though the streets were deserted and eerie, I never looked back or turned around, as if I was too afraid to see who was behind me. I was just a girl who feels like she's the only one who doesn't belong in the world, like she will never be good enough for anyone. Now, while I walked down the street, I passed by people in groups enjoying their time together. I felt so lonely and hopeless. I felt completely cut off from everyone. Groups of people enjoying their time together were about to leave as darkness fell.
I looked over my shoulder as I heard footsteps behind me. I felt someone or something is watching me, a sense of dread. I felt presence, but everytime i looked around, I saw nothing. suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me again. I continued walking through the empty rain-soaked streets, but I wasn't alone. I felt a dark presence watching me in the darkness. I could hear footsteps getting closer, but there's no one there. I started to become scared. What is following me? I heard a voice, but who speaks, when I don't see anyone? The footsteps are still there. I looked around, but there's no one there except my own reflection in a nearby puddle. The rain pours down on me as my heart races, but then the voice called out to me again, this time I can't ignore it... „Hello?" I heard. „Hello...?" I called back. The voice came out from behind a nearby corner. I turned the corner carefully, but the voice came out from behind another corner... I saw something standing underneath a street lamp... I slowly looked at it, but then my body was pulled into the darkness. I couldn't fight back. My heart was beating faster than ever and the rain was pouring down on me. I couldn't see where i'm or what's happening, but I knew i need to break free... I struggled and tried to get free, but the pull of the darkness was too strong for me. I turned to run, but my legs felt like lead. I couldn't run any longer.
I screamed as the figure started to run towards. I begin pulled into the darkness, but then, I saw a faint glow of light. It came from behind me. I tried to break free and I struggled to look. I could see something coming from the light, but I couldn't make it out... A strange noise echoes through the air. It's a noise I never heard before. The noise was loud and eerie. The figure from the light was clear, it reminded me of the hope I lost then. It was different from the figure under the lamp. This figure, I wanted to touch. My desire to touch the bright figure coming out of the light was unreal, but then I fell down to the ground in the pouring rain...
After some time, I woke up alone outside. Now I'm back in the rain-soaked. It's still raining and I feel weak and tired. I'm lying on the wet road watching my reflection in puddles of rain. I look around and see no one there. I'm trying to move but I can't. I try to speak, but I can't.
Was it a dream?
Was it real?
What happened?
I'm alone in the rain and I slowly start to realize what's happening, but something isn't right, I know it...
