Chapter Five: Two Breaths Walking (Final)

(Name) jolted awake suddenly with a loud gasp, eyes full of fear as she touched her neck; she is still haunted by those nightmarish dreams, that reality she escaped from with help. She still felt this hands rubbing and touching all over her body, as well as other things done to her body. (Name) let out a small sobbing sound as she hugged herself, it was so scary that nothing could erase the physical feelings upon her.

Someone.... Someone help me!

(Name) wiped her eyes quickly and forced on her new smile, that broken smile she always bore to fool herself into thinking nothing was wrong at all. But everything was wrong, every single aspect of her body was wrong. All she wanted to do was disappear away forever, far far away from this black reality to something a lot better.

End it, (Name)... End this nightmare you live in... End it now...

Those voices rang in her head, the ones telling her to end her existence; those voices implanted into her mind, the words that keep her up at night.

"Shut... Shut up!" (Name) shouted at herself with a sob, holding her head with a loud whimper. She really hated this voice in her mind, it was painful and cruel to her while robbing away the sleep she needed.

Soft caramel eyes looked up at her from the bed, the small kitten quietly mewled out to her and laid against her leg. (Name) looked down at the small kitten, who was a surprise gift from Wendy when she she explained it was a mission reward.

Truth was, everyone pitched in a little to get her a kitten as company; Lisanna took care of it but no one really came up with a name yet.

Or at least agreed on a name...

"I think we should name her Lucky or Hope..." Natsu spoke as he sat close to (Name), "Or maybe even Caramel~"

Lucy bopped him upside the head, "Baka, (Name)-chan is gonna name her!"

"Ow!"

(Name) smiled softly at the small kitten, stroking it's fur with small affection while the voices disappeared within her mind. She was happy that she got a companion to keep her company, even if it was just a sleepy kitten which depended on her for food and shelter. (Name) kept stroking its soft fur with a little more affection, feeling the small creature breathe happily as its tail wagged slightly. (Name)'s smile slowly gotten wider, "I think... I'll name you..."

[Later That Morning]

"Yume?" Lucy repeated as she picked up her bagel, looking at (Name) as she nodded in agreement. She was invited out for breakfast before heading over to the guild. (Name) nodded in agreement as she looked down at Yume; she was playing with a big piece of yarn, one that was a little too big for her to even grip properly to begin with.

"I think that's a cute name! It means Dream, right?" Lucy spoke as she sipped her morning tea, having decided not to have coffee in the morning, "I think it suits her very well."

(Name) nodded in agreement as she smiled down at Yume, seeing her tail sway as she kept pawing on her yarn. They stayed after for a few more minutes until Lucy paid the bill, slowly walking to the guild with her until they reached the entrance of the guild. (Name) looked back at Lucy as she waved a little, "Sorry (Name), I have a mission to go on with Natsu... Knowing him, he cant't really go on this one alone."

(Name) nodded her head in acknowlagement, feeling slightly comfortable here at the guild. She watched Lucy wave and walked away, turning to the guild with a small sigh and walked in; there were several people scattered about.

She manuvered away from curious eyes and towards the bar, smiling ever so slightly at Mirajane as she came over, "Good morning (Name)! You just missed Natsu, he was asking about you."
