Chapter 19

Nyomi pov

Vinny(irvin) pulled to the resaturat that my mom had texted. Saying  that we will be doing dinner here instead of at there house. Late last night after getting from Irvin parents I had text mom that I would be coming.

She then text me that I couldn't could come without Irvin which had me rolling my eyes at her text. Making me rethink the fact that decide to go to dinner, but it didn't effect anything from her asking because Irvin had already agreed on coming.

The restaurant we were at looked fancy and  clean soon as we step in. I was glad that what I was wearing it matching the environment. I wore a orange flowing slik material dress with matching clear and gold.

Walking in I give the waiter my families last name and he walks us over to the table where my parents, Jace, and Navy is sitting. Irvin pulls out my seat at the table pushing in my chair as I sat down.  Navy gave me a snare as she watched me sit down and so did mom but she covers it with a fake smile.

"Mr.Hayes thank you for coming" my father says and Irvin gives him a polite nod his face staying neutral.

"This is my wife Hannah, our daughter Navy, and her fiancé Jace." My eyes go wide at what my father says and navy makes sure she acts like she cleaning her nails flashing the extravagant diamond ring. It didn't even look that expensive from where I was sitting but I just kept my mouth shut. Jace and I was together more than two years every time I tried to drop hints about marriage he ignored me but they have been dating for what a few months and he already have a ring on her finger.

"When did you propose?" I ask curious on when in these few did he have to propose.
Navy giggled at my question.

"A couple of days ago actually Jace is so romantic he took me out to dinner and when we were finished he pop the question," it didn't sound that romantic to me but I just kept my thoughts to myself. He obviously put no thought into it. It was nothing unique about them as a couple included just the basic.

"I have to say I was shocked when I saw you with Nyomi, I just couldn't believe someone like you would choose someone as.... well look at her". My mom says. Wow that's the first thing you say after not talking to me for over two weeks.

I look over at Irvin as he tightened his grip on my thigh.

Irvin Pov

I wanted to shoot her mom as soon as those words came out of her mouth. She is disrespecting her daughter. My mini and infront of me out of all things.

"You don't need to to worry about that I defiantly love what I see, and she is my women to worry how she looking I am the one who is fucking her not you," I say back letting the anger from her words through when I spoke.  I love every inch of her body and she doesn't need to do anything to change it and if she decided to change I will still love her body.

I saw her family faces with shook written all over them. I rub nyomi thigh confronting her. She look like she was use to her family behavior but she shouldn't be.

Her mom cleared her throat "well thats good I was just trying to say that Navy is well better suited for someone like you, she is someone you would love to show off like Jace does Navy"

She may want to rethink that because the first thing I notice when we sat down was that Jordan or what ever his name is was staring at my mini to much his eyes traveling Down her body and cleavage.

I gave him a glare motioning for him to take his eyes off my women.

The waiter came over asking for a drinks. Her mother and sister got a water with lemon her father just a water while Nyomi order some wine. Which they had to turn there nose  at also.

"Mr. Hayes I just want to say even after you break up with my daughter I just want you know that the connections that we make during your relationship don't have to end."

Her father speaks and my blood boil her family is assholes and my mini should have to listen to this I haven't heard on positive non judgmental comment since we got here. The first thing he assumes that I am going to break with his daughter. I was starting to get why my mini wasn't on good terms with her family. All she had to say was one word and I would put a bullet in all of them.

"I am not breaking up with mini anytime and that would be my mini decision if she decides if she wants me to help your company or if after I should to continue to help your company, cause let's face the facts your  company ain't going to help my company put change in my pockets."

Done with my statement the waiter came over with the drinks that we had ordered. Awkwardly placing them down probably feeling the tensions that surrounded the table.
When mini drink was placed infront of her she immediately drank her drink in one swig. having to refill it  three times. "Do you know what you guys are having," everyone order what they were having and of course as soon as nyomi order her sister made a comment.

"Shouldn't be having a salad?"

"Shouldn't you know not to lay with you sister ex" Nyomi responds and I smirk before I register what she said. Wait... her ex. This asshole was the one who didn't treat her like the queen she is. Then sit here and stare at her like I wasn't by her side.

By her response I could tell the drink was geeting to her. Her word seemed abit more slurded and I know nymoi well enough that she usaually wouldn't respound to things like that.

"I thought since you didn't speak to us for these last two week that you go over these. Immaturity about the whole situation," her mom comments.

"Mom you know what its not immaturity thats the problem here its the fact that your all are selfish and stuck up and thats the reason why I didn't speak to you guys Navy and that jackass can have each other until the day they die but I won't be supporting  any of it which includes your businesses. I will be perfectly fine without all of you and if you think I am jeaslous think twice becuase I would never be jealous of my left overs. Who by the way, propose in the most dasic way ever so I am glab you didn't propose to me because if you did I would have thrown the cheap shit  right back in your face just like the trash you are and if I was you navy I wouldn't be bragging about that cheap ring that you can see its cheap from a a mile a way."

She rants getting up and storming out of the reastraunt almost stumbling as she stood. I went right behind her placing  my hand on her ass making sure she doesn't fall on her way out.
