Raph (Angst)

Leo walked into Raph's room when he was asleep, he gently poked Raph's face. "Hey, Raph? We're going to get some pizza, wanna come with us?" he spoke quietly, not wanting to startle Raph awake.

"Huh?" Raph sat up and rubbed his eyes, yawning quietly. "What'd you need, Leo?"

"We're going to get some piiiiizzaaaaa." Leo dragged out the last word for dramatic effect. "You wanna come with us? We didn't wanna wake you up but you're sleeping later than usual."

"Oh, uh... sure." Raph nodded, smiling a little. He was looking forward to spending some time with his family, he felt like they hadn't been spending enough time together lately since they were more focused on getting better after the Krang invasion. "Where are we going?"

"Probably the Run Of The Mill diner since it wasn't as affected by the Krang invasion as everywhere else." Leo shrugged. "Don't take hours to get ready while saying you're waiting on us or something." he teased playfully.

"Leo, you're one to talk!" Raph laughed, sitting up. "That's totally your-... thing..." he stopped.

"Heh, you're one to talk, big bro. Hero moves are totally your style." Leo's voice seemed unnaturally calm. Raph could feel the fear building in his chest, the realization slowly sinking in that he could lose his brother.

"Uhhhh... Raph? You good?" Leo laughed nervously, patting Raph's shoulder.

"Oh, uhm... yeah, I'm all good, don't worry." Raph nodded and got up, hugging Leo tightly. "Just noticing you seem a little off today. Let me know if you need anything, okay?"

"Oh, sure!" Leo smiled and nodded, he didn't seem to truly believe it but it got him off Raph's case for a while, so it had to have worked. "Well, I'm gonna go ahead and get ready!" he waved, then went out of the room. 

"What's wrong with me...?" Raph whispered to himself. "I thought I got over this, I should've already gotten over this... I'm the oldest, the strongest, I should be better than this... Get it together, Raph!... ugh... I can't believe I'm still doing this." he sighed and looked down, then smiled. "A day with everyone should make everything better, yeah!" he started to calm down.

As soon as everyone was ready and in the tank, Donnie started the ignition and let the autopilot move them. "So, unlike Leo's previous suggestions, we are not getting Hawaiian, right?"

"What?! C'mon, Donnie, we can pick the pineapple off for you if you're gonna be that picky about it!" Leo whined, then flicked Donnie in the head, effectively smacking his goggles off of his head. "C'mon, Mikey, be the tie breaker!"

"Nope! I stay out of this for now." Mikey laughed, leaning back in his chair. "You'll have to ask someone else!"

"Raaaaaaph, you've gotta agree with me!" Leo laughed, leaning against Raph's shoulder. "Pleaaaaase?"

"Oh god, please no." Donnie shook his head. "I don't think I can handle that grossness right now."

"Uhhhh..." Raph thought for a while, he didn't like seeing Donnie grossed out. It reminded him of how grossed out he was during the Krang invasion. "We're not getting Hawaiian this time, Leo, but we can get ham on it if you want!" he chuckled.

"What?! Awh, come onnnnn!" Leo sat back down in his chair and slumped over. "Laaaaaame!"

"Thank you, Raph." Donnie smiled, then smirked victoriously at Leo. "We're going to enjoy our pineapple-less pizza, aren't we?"

"Ugh, whatever, Donnie." Leo rolled his eyes playfully, smiling again. "Hey, Raph, since Donnie's gonna be a baby about the pizza, can we go to the beach sometime soon?"
