I looked up at Herley in mild confusion, but I dropped the pastry. I stretched out my hand to pick up a donut but she stopped me again.
"Not that one, it's prepared specially for Arnou."
I scoffed in annoyance but I kept my hands to myself. Arnou noticed our strange exchange and looked curiously at Herley.
"Herley, what exactly would happen if someone else eats from the pastry that was prepared for me?"
Herley blushed a bit and said.
"Nothing exactly but it was prepared for you."
"Well since it's mine. I've decided Daciana can have from the pastry if she wants." Arnou said with a small smile.
I flashed Herley a triumphant smile and picked up the initial pastry I had selected.
I looked around Arnou's office and noticed how sparse the decoration was. He had no personal items in his office and the décor was mostly beige.
I stared around while eating my pastry.
"Do you like it?" Arnou asked me curiously.
Honestly I wasn't a fan of moody colors but I wasn't about to tell Arnou
