***Katie's POV***
I cringed as the voice grew louder and she appeared.
"Bri baby, there you are." Michelle said walking over to him.
I saw him glance over to me and giving me an apologetic look. I didn't really see the point in caring at the time. I just leaned more into Camden and got comfortable.
"What's she doing here?" I heard Nicole ask. I shook my head.
"No clue but I'm not worried about it." I said
She looked me in the eyes to see if I was lying and nodded once she saw I wasn't. "Good. You have no need to worry. He isn't worth it."
I didn't say anything. I just looked over to Zack and the other guys smiling as they admired Zoltan. I was so lucky to have such accepting friends. He has so many aunts and uncles that love him already and I was happy about that.
"Food's ready!" Matt yelled and we all gathered around and ate and just talked to catch up.
I had gotten Zoltan back from Zack so he could eat. I wasn't too hungry so I just sat with them for a bit before Zoltan got fussy and I got up to go inside and fix him a bottle.
"Shh baby it's okay. Just a sec and it will be all better." I said smiling down at my son. Once the bottle was finished I checked it on my wrist then gave it to him. He started sucking immediately. I went and sat down in the living room on the couch.
We stayed there for a while before Camden made his appearance. "There you two are."
I smiled up at him. "Someone was hungry." I said
He smiled. I was about to burp Zoltan because he had just finished when Camden spoke up. "Here, let me." He said taking Zoltan and burping him gently.
I couldn't help but smile at this. When I found out I was pregnant I was terrified. I wasn't sure what anyone would say about it but they all surprised me. Especially Camden. He stepped up and went to all my appointments and was even there when I gave birth. I owed him a lot for that. He made things so much less worrisome for me and for that I'd be eternally grateful.
"There we go." Said Camden as he got Zoltan to burp.
I tried to hide my yawn but he saw it.
"Looks like mommy is tired." He said smiling down at me. He carefully sat down with Zoltan and pulled me to him. Zoltans carrier was right by us so he placed him gently in there then turned back to me. "You can sleep a little if you want. I'll watch him and the guys should be busy for a long while."
I looked up at him and he kissed my forehead and I smiled "Okay but just a small nap." I slowly closed my eyes as I leaned into his warm embrace and I was out in minutes.
Little did I know that Brian had seen the whole thing and was becoming angrier by the second....oh joy this should be fun....
