Ali's POV.
At the beginning of my dance team practice the captain which was this Senior named Ashleigh Remmers, had us say are names and the reason we all started dancing. Some chick started saying "Hi I'm Cary and I started dancing after my mom had a stroke, she just enjoyed it so much so it was all for her." "What a inspirational story Cary, and thank you for sharing." Ashleigh remarked. There was a few others that gave there story, and it felt like they were are sob stories about there families. It was exhausting listening to them go on and on.
"How about you Alison Wilson, is it?" Ashleigh went on. "Okay, well my name is Alison like she said but I go by Ali most of the time, I first started dancing at age two with ballet. Then ending up on competition teams and devoting my whole life to it, now it just comes naturally. I am involved with ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and a little acrobats. I am involved with all the competitions as well." I answered boringly. "That's nice Ali and I hope we can become great friends."
After that sharing session we stretched a little and started with some warm ups. It felt like Ashleigh was like the star followed by her side kicks, Bree, and Kayli. With the rest of us as what? Like her puppies she uses for trophies. Anyway after practice we all got some water. Everyone was gone and I was on my way, packing my stuff in my gym bag. "Hey, Ali."
Ash commented. "Um hi Ash, nice moves today." "You as well. Do you want to hang out later?" She asked.
"Well I really need to get back home, how about Wednesday?" I offered. "Sure, that sounds nice. See you at practice tomorrow." "Okay." I answered back.
I grabbed my bag and headed out the door when bang, I hit my head. "I'm so sorry." Someone started."Its fine." I began to say before I noticed who it was. He kinda laughed a little. "Hey, I'm sorry we keep meeting like this." Luke brought up. "It's fine really, I'm not that gentle." I remarked. We both laughed for what seemed like an awkward amount of time. "Um, I have to go. See you around." I told him nicely. "Sure, see yea." He answered back, and he was gone.
