Chapter 3

When y/n woke up she was laying in the supply closest leaning up against the wall. She rubed her head and got up looking for Nimona and Ballister. When she stepped outside she saw a pink rhino attacking some guards and Ballister panicking but y/n was confused on where Nimona went. Y/n was snapped out of her thoughts by some guards charging at her. Y/n punched one and threw the other aside. Y/n smiled and said "oh this is gonna be fun!" She threw a couple more guards to the side before getting picked up by the rhino with Ballister yelling. The rhino almost ran into Ambrosius but he jumped out of the way and the rhino turned the corner. Y/n looked back at him and waved goodbye. The rhino continued to run into guards as y/n got more and more confused and why there was a giant pink rhino. Y/n then realized that the rhino was Nimona. "Nimona?" Y/n said just to make sure. "Yea?" Nimona said as she ran into a bunch of guards. "Woah it is you that's awesome!" Y/n yelled as she threw one of the knights helmets at another knight. Ballister was still confused and holding on to Nimona for dear life. "Wait so you are a rhino?" Y/n said confused trying to get some sort of explanation. "I am a lot of things" Nimona said as she threw Ballister on to a rolling chair and turning into an armadillo, bear, bird, otter, and gorilla while still pushing Ballister. "That's awesome!" Y/n yelled running next to them. Nimona picked Ballister up and hoped off of the balcony. Y/n followed close behind with the rolling chair and after jumping off the balcony she hoped on to the chair and grabbed on to Nimona who was now an ostrich to get dragged behind. "This is awesome! Right Ballister!" Y/n yelled as she got pulled through the building on a rolling chair. "No!" Ballister yelled back as he grabbed on to Nimona for dear life. "Promised!" Nimona said annoyed as she turned her head around to look at Ballister. "Right!" Ballister yelled. "You promised not to freak out!" Nimona yelled back at him. "No Nimona go right your gonna hit a wall!" Y/n said pointing forward. Nimona turned and ran for the door but a bunch of knights ran in front and blocked the way. Nimona smiled and turned into a whale running into the knights and breaking through the door. "Huh this floor is surprising stable" Nimona said as she stopped sliding. The floor cracked and Nimona said "ah there we go" before falling down into some sort of storage area, a conference room, and the bathroom. The floors stopped breaking for a second and Nimona looked over at Tod. "Cold down there?" She said and Tod cover himself up. Y/n laughed and the floors broke again. Ballister yelled for help as Nimona landed in a room full of statues. Ballister fell off of Nimona and y/n slid down. "You did that on purpose" Ballister said as he stood up and looked at Nimona. "You catch on quick!" Nimona said. Y/n chuckled but then all the statues started to fall down. "We gotta get out of here!" Ballister yelled but he was soon picked up by Nimona who was now a rhino. Y/n ran after them just barely dogging the falling statues. Ballister was yelling scared for his life as Nimona jumped out the window. "Wait for me!" Y/n yelled. She was about to jump out the window until a guard grabbed her by her hood and lifted her up. Y/n thrashed around trying to get free. "Got ya!" The guard said happily. Y/n panicked. She didn't know what to do. Suddenly y/n grew razor sharp claws and scratched right through the knight's armor to his arm he winced in pain and threw y/n out the window. Y/n was heading face first to the ground but a few seconds before she hit the ground y/n grew a set of wings some horns and a long pointed tail. Y/n spread her wings and she was lifted up by the wind. Y/n flapped her wings frantically trying to say in the air but she crashed to the ground next to Nimona. "Y/n there you are! Are you ok-" Nimona said but she was surprised to see y/n with wings, a tail, and horns sitting on the ground brushing dirt of her sweater. When y/n looked up at Nimona she froze. "You're..." Nimona had started to say but y/n cut her off by saying "a monster." Nimona was surprised by that and said "no your not a monster! I was trying to say a dragon! That's awesome!" Nimona said holding out her hand to help y/n up. Y/n reached up to grab Nimona's hand but stoped after seeing the blood on her claws. When Nimona say the blood she grabbed y/n's clawed hand and whipped the blood off before helping y/n up. Y/n stood still for a second before hugging Nimona and crying. "Thank you" y/n said through tears. Nimona hugged her back. Y/n's wings, claws, and stuff went away and y/n stoped crying. When they stoped hugging they both blushed a bit. Y/n cleared her throat and pointed at Ballister saying "so what are we gonna do about him?" "Oh I was just gonna drag him back to the layer." Nimona said grabbing Ballister's foot and dragging him. Y/n laughed and walked beside Nimona. When they made it to the layer Nimona and y/n lifter Ballister on to the couch and put a blanket over top of him. Nimona started running around rearranging things and y/n sat down at the table to think. Y/n was thinking about what in the world had happened today until suddenly she remembered something. The reason why she was in jail in the first place.
