Will can actually understand and speak Italian so can all the Apolo kids but nico did not know that so before they started dating he would call will pet names in Italian like honey, sunshine, love etc and will wanted to mess with him so he would ask what it meant and nico would say it meant idot, stupid, dumbass,etc and nico only found out that will could understand him was when they were dating for about 6 weeks and percy was talking to him about how a Apolo kid was speaking Italian and nico asked about it and percy said that all Apolo kids could understand and speak Italian and when he said that nico just ran to cabin 13 and stayed in there for 3 days before will came and dragged him out
