Meanwhile, back in his room, Jack was using his rope made of fabrics to try and escape his room. As he was lowering it out the window, a knock was heard on his door. Thinking that it was Maddie, Jack told her to go away. But, when Topsy revealed herself to be at the door, Jack quickly moved his makeshift rope to the side, hoping to hide it. Topsy came in just as Jack had finished attempting to hide the rope. Topsy rode in on a moving cart with Georgie. Finally seeing him for the first time, Topsy commented on Jack's beauty. Only to notice the rope behind him.

Knowing what Jack was trying to do, Topsy poured him a cup of tea before he left on his journey. Georgie jumped off the cart and made his way over to Jack who picked him up by his saucer. Jack took a sip before Georgie turned to say hello, even showing him a little bubble trick he had learned. Topsy scolded him for it before turning to Jack, saying that what he did for his father was very brave. Kate woke up, agreeing with Topsy. Jack voiced his worries about him as George had never been on his own before.

Topsy just encouraged him to look on the bright side, saying how everything will turn out in the end, especially after he's had some dinner. Jack reminded Topsy of what Maddie had said to which Topsy dismissed it, saying how a lot of people say things in anger, and it was their choice whether or not to listen. Topsy started leading Jack downstairs, Kate even encouraging him to go. Downstairs, Bert had heard the news of Jack coming down to eat and was prepared to make this the best feast. The best they've done in years. Of course, some didn't agree.

"No, you don't!" Binnacle spoke up, "If the mistress finds out you violated her orders and fed him she will blame me!

"Yes, I will make sure of it," Bert promised, "But did you see him stand up to her? l am telling you, this girl is the one. They must fall in love if we are to be human again and how can they fall in love if he stays in his room?"

Bert commented on one of the servants cleaning as Binnacle swung by on a cart.

"You know he'll never love her," Binnacle commented.

"A broken clock is right two times a day, mon ami but this is not one of those times," Bert said.

Bert kept going around the kitchen, ensuring that everything was perfect for Jack's dinner. Meanwhile, Binnacle was trying to ensure that everyone was staying quiet so as to not wake their mistress. Bert agreed but asked what dinner was without a little music. This caught Binnacle's attention, not agreeing with that plan. Bert approached a piano. This was Maestro Michael, a brilliant musician. Albeit a tad bit rusting after years of not playing as brilliantly as he once did. But Bert tried to encourage him nonetheless, explaining that his wife was upstairs, finding it hard to stay awake.

If they wanted to be reunited once again, Michael needed to help get Jack and Maddie together so that they could break the curse. Michael promised to play. Of course, Binnacle recommended that Michael play quietly. Michael reluctantly agreed, asking if there were any other tasteless demands Binnacle had. Thankfully, playing quietly was all he wanted to request. Finally, Topsy came in with Jack, and Bert had the candles dim, ready to give the performance of a lifetime. (Y/N) flew up to the moonlight with an iron plate to shine a spotlight onto Bert.

"Ma chère Monsieur. It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight," Bert cleared his throat, making sure (Y/N) had the light on him, "And now... we invite you to relax," a chail pulled up behind Jack, making him sit down, "Let us pull up a chair... as the dining room proudly presents..."

Bert jumped over a dining cloth and bowed, letting some dishes fly around Jack and land on the table in front of him. Michael played a small tune, stopping on an odd note. But he fixed it and Bert continued to address Jack.
