"okay, you have your lunch, your water bottle and—"

"my sweater!" annabelle giggles.

"yes sweet baby girl, your sweater," i kiss her on the cheek, "now go say by to daddy. he'll be gone by the time you get home with aunty lily, okay?"

anna nods and throws her little arms around me, hugging, "okay, mommy."

she scurries off, the backpack on her back almost as big as her body. i clean up the kitchen a little as i wait for austin to bring annabelle back out, "is robin still sleeping?"

"yup," he replies, he places a kiss into anna's cheek, "okay, bye baby, i'm gonna miss you."

anna just giggles, probably not fully understanding that austin is leaving for a movie for a bit, "okay, daddy!"

"have fun at school," he tells her and puts her down, letting her run out to the driveway where lily-rose waits.

he comes over to me and wraps an arm around my waist, "want me to bring her robin?"

"no, i'll do it. be right back." i walk off and carefully take robin out of his crib. he's already ready, he just feel asleep while i was getting him dressed. he's such a calm baby. on my way towards the door, i grab his diaper bag and the bag with extra stuff for anna.

"here you go, lily," i say as i hand off the bags.

she puts them in the backseat next to annabelle, "alright. all secure."

"and now, robin," i litter his sleepy face with little kisses, "ugh, mommy's gonna miss you. are you sure you're okay with this?"

lily-rose nods, "of course i am. austin's leaving for six weeks. you deserve to spend the day with him child free."

i smile and nod, gently handing over robin to her. she fastens him in his car seat, making sure he's secure before turning toward me, "so, anna is done with school at 12:30?"

i nod, "yup. it's her first day."

"i remember mina's first day. she'll be fine, don't worry."

"yeah. well, i'll see you tonight lily-rose. thank you, again. bye-bye." we leave each other with a hug before i turn back toward the house.
