Wallys POV

I really do question the flowers that grow on them. They keep spreading. It's getting to where it's spreading to their eye. What will happen if it spreads too far? Could they become blind? Questions filled my head as I heard a knock on my door. I walked to my front door to see the neighbor standing there.

"Hey, Wally. I found a place where we can hang out if you're willing to go." They say leaning against my door frame. "Sure. There's not much happening with me right now." I say. "Great, come on!" The neighbor said, running. "Already?" I said, chasing after them. After a while, they stopped running.

We were at a small lake. "Where'd you find this?" I questioned. "I was walking around and found this place." They replied. They stood near the water. I couldn't miss the opportunity, so I pushed them in. Once they splashed in the water, they realized what had happened.

"What the fuck was that for!" They yelled getting up and shaking themselves off "i cant swim!" "Its not that deep!" I reply. I was laughing my ass off without knowing they were in front of me. "What if I hug you now.." The neighbor was smirking, still soaking wet. "Don't you fucking dare-" before I could finish my sentence they started chasing me with their arms open.

"Come here~" They say jokingly. I almost tripped, and that's when they snuck up behind me, pushing me to the ground, hugging me. Now I was wet and dirty. "I fucking hate you.. Now get off." I say pushing them off me. "Revenge sucks doesn't it?" They said laughing. "Shut up." I tried dusting myself off, but there was still dirt.

The neighbor started talking, "I know a way to clean it-" "You're not pushing me in the fucking water." I say before they cam finish their sentence. "Damn." They replied."How do you know what I was always saying?" They asked. "Because you're that dumb that I know what you say next." I reply. "Wouldn't that make you dumb?" They asked, snickering. "Say one more thing, and I'm making sure you drown." I threatened. "Fine, fine." They say stretching.

We both were sitting close to the lake just talking. "Hey Wally?" The neighbor asked. "Yeah?" I replied. They looked hesitant to ask this question. "Did you ever regret meeting me?.." "What kind of question is that?" I ask. "Just answer." They demanded. "Well, if I'm being honest." I paused before continuing.

"Never a chance."
