Coming home

When I came home, mom wasnt home which is heaven for me, but soon as I got inside..my little brother caught me off guard. Erman was leaning against the wall right in front of me. He was grinning like he got some diabolical plan just for me.

I dodge through the kitchen and pretended he wasn't there, eventually I failed.

"So how's your day, sister?" Erman speaked in a very bossy tone whenever he wants something he doesn't deserve.

"Cut the crap Ermando! Leave me alone!!" I said annoyed.

"Oh, you probably wanna hear this one. Sherrie called an hour ago. And apparently you weren't in school." He taunted.

Ugh! "Rat me out. I destroy your Playstation." I threatened because I know where these conversation going. I've been there too many times..not today brother.

He shrugged his shoulders. "You know what. I'll take my chances."

"For once in your life, do something that doesn't require abomination, Erman." I tried talking to his inner humanity, and obviously it's nonexistent.

"Well?" He smirked.

"I hate you to the bones. What do you want?" I asked. Forced myself to hear him out.

"Lifetime of not throwing the trash..and 24/7 for 2 months I owned your computer." he replied faster than a speeding bullet. It's like he'd already planned this out the day he wasn't even born.

"Heck no, mom gave you that chore and if you dare touch my computer. You're dead!" I almost yelled at him.

He scratched the back of his head, "Oh well, I guess mother get's to hear what I got to say."

"I can't believe this." I said exasperated by his demands.

"Your time is ticking, sister!" Snapping his fingers.

I sighly deeply and finally give in.."Okay..okay..how about 6 months of no trash throwing and..instead of my computer. How about I'll help you out get a date with Kathy Eve..for the upcoming blue event at school this week."

He was silent for a moment...

"Damn..you got me! You know I can't say no to Kathy Eve, she's the love of my life.You got a deal, sister!!" He was like some kind of business man who just got the best deal of his life.

"We're done. Get out of my sight." I had to take him out of the kitchen before I end up giving my brother a first degree murder.

After Erman's revoluntionary extortion, I came straight to bed. I took a 3 hour nap and then mom woke me up at 9pm to eat dinner. Of course my lovely brother kept quiet and mom was happily telling us story about her day. Which I found out that Kaye is pregnant..mom couldn't stop herself talking about Kaye's pregnancy. That's why mom wasn't home because she was at Kaye's place..apparently celebrating. By the way Kaye is my older sister, she's a doctor. I don't see her that much now, since she got married and got a place in downtown. I kinda miss her.

Pagkatapos ni Erman tsaka Ma kumain, ako'y naghugas ng plato. Then agad agad akong humiga sa higaan, for a while ako'y di' makatulog..dahil siguro sa 3 hour nap kanina. and somehow I kind of thought about Vin, and I was curious of what is she doin' right now. I reached something on my left side drawer and I silently looked at the torned out paper with written numbers in it, and below I can see a name written in bold letters 'VIN'

Yung mga numero na nakasukat sa papel, para bang gustong tumawag kay Vin. Pero if ever tumawag man ako, ano naman ang sasabihin ko? Ang awkward kaya! Uuuggghh!! I should stop thinking about her. It's just a one time moment Riz, just forget about everything that happened and start to look forward for tomorrow.
