In The Midst Love Of San Flores

Prologue

"Ang ganda nyo talaga Ms. Winslet" sambit ng aking makeup artist. Ngumiti lang ako sa kanya. I have shooting right now.

"Asked ko lang mader" he said. So I looked at him in the mirror.

"Yes?"

"Why you don't have boyfriend?"

"Well, my parents doesn't want me to have it, because they say, love just ruined your future and career" I answered.

My parents rejected a lot of my suitors when I was teenager because they say, boys didn't help to my future as a model.

So I followed them, and obeyed them even thought I don't want to.

I want to have a family with the man I loved but I think, man wasn't for me. Maybe I will be alone when I was turning old.

"I get their point Ms. Winslet" the makeup artist agreed with my parents. Ngumiti lang ako sa kanya ng tipid.

See? Everyone say if you're artist, you shouldn't date someone especially if that boy is poor or non showbiz.

I just accepted what my fate.

"Ms. Winslet? Ready na po ba kayo?"

Napatingin ako sa may pinto nang tinanong ako ng isang staff kung handa na ba ako, tumango lang ako sa kanya. I ready myself.

"Magsisimula na raw po, punta na po kayo sa inyong area" tumango naman ako sa kanya, sinimulan ko nang tumayo at pumunta sa area kung saan kami mag sho-shoot.

Tango lang ako nang tango tuwing may nabati sa akin na mga staff. Mayamaya ay nakita ko na si Manager Rio.

"Ready yourself, we'll start now" Ani nito kaya't naman tumango ako sa kanya. Puwesto na ako sa may area kung saan gaganapin ang shooting.

"Okay!" sambit ng lalaki na mag kukuha ng video, at kasabay din nito ang pagpalakpak nito.

"Ready! 1, 2, 3 start!"

Makalipas ang Ilang oras ay natapos narin ang shooting namin.

"Very good! Walang kupas talaga ang galing mo!" puri sa akin nung lalaki, ngumiti lang ako sa kanya. Umupo ako sa may counter upang makapag pahinga dahil medyo napagod ako sa aming naging shooting kanina.

Lumapit sa akin si Manager Rio, "Good job Winslet" he said. "Anyway, There's company want you to become their model with their products" ayunsyo nito sa akin, napatingin naman ako sa kanya, "That's great!" sambit ko rito habang ang mga ngiti ko ay abot mata dahil sa naging balita nito sa akin.

"But..."

Kunot noo akong tumingin sa kanya, tila may kasama itong bad news. "But?" I asked.

He sighed heavy. "But you need a partner" he said.
"What!? No way! I already told you that I don't like to have a partner in my career!" giit ko sa kanya.

"I know, I know but I already accept their offer" he said, "Rio! You should told me first before you accept it!" inis na sambit ko sa kanya.

He was frustrated. "Oh please Winslet! You should try to explore to your career, It's just once Winslet" he uttered.

"Winslet, this is for you, in fact it's big opportunity for you. You can realize something in your career after you did this, trust me Winslet, you will thank me for what I did" he said and hold my shoulder.

"Ano pa nga ba ang gagawin ko? Tinanggap mo na e" sambit ko rito. "As if namang may laban ako sa'yo" I added.

"Thank you! Thank you!" masayang ani niya sa akin ngunit inirapan ko lang siya. "Don't thank me, labag sa loob ko ito" naiinis na sambit ko sa kanya ngunit tinawanan niya lang ako.
