Insecurity's grip, oh how it can vex,
Seeping through thoughts, leaving one perplexed,
Unaware of its power, we project onto another,
Unraveling toxicity, unknowingly, as if undercover.
But as I reflect on the person I was,
I've learned the value of growth, breaking free from the buzz,
Day by day, evolving into something more,
Shedding insecurities, embracing the core.
Those circumstances that once held sway,
No longer hold the power to darken my day,
For I've discovered strength in learning to let go,
A newfound resilience, my spirit's vibrant glow.
So I continue to rise, leaving insecurity behind,
With each step forward, a new strength I find,
Becoming better, wiser, day by day,
In the face of adversity, I fiercely hold my sway.
