"Yahhh, get up you lazy ass and help me pick up these fruits."

"We shouldn't have come here Jia'er, if our parents and your Hyung find out, they are going to kill us."

"You are such a coward, we are just taking some fruits from the forest, why would they scold us? And there is still some time before sunset." he rambled as he picked up all the fruits he saw fallen on the ground and passed on to the man who was following him with a shivering heart. Scared of the forest that they were warned from entering from childhood.

"You sure are fearless for someone who is thick headed, but I am tired." Feeling tired, he sat under a tree, leaning against the tree trunk, trying to rest his body for a second.

"Life without thrill and adventure is useless.", he sassed bending a little with a smirk on his face, coming face to face with the man who was busy daydreaming laying against a tree trunk, he opened his eyes as he felt someone's breath fanning his face. He felt his breath hitch as he looked in his black orbs.

"And you alive without my fist connecting to your face is useless too", a low deep voice scrawled, anger seeping through the words. Jongin pushed Jia'er, swiftly standing up with a flustered face. While Jia'er stood there with a disappointed face.

But soon the two young lads' faces turned pale like ghosts, all the blood draining from their face, all emotions forgotten and just dread filling their body as they turned towards the voice together. A man was standing there in a white Hanbok which was decorated delicately with ivory thread and had a broad ivory border all along the cloth, making the long-haired man look majestic, his phoenix eyes were blazing with anger as he stood with his hands clasped at his back making him look more petrifying.

The two boys who were dressed in a similar way in yellow and blue plain Hanbok with white details felt a chill down their spine, Jia'er slowly eyed Jongin, signalling him to run.

They mentally counted till 3 while looking for an open path and sprinted together in the opposite direction unconsciously holding each other's hands. But before they could escape, they felt someone tugging on their collar.

"You both thought you could escape me."

"Hyung, we are sorry."

"I was forced to come here by him."

Jia'er turned towards Jongin with a pointed look, "Yah I didn't, hyung I... oww".

"Shut up! Blaming each other is not going to help you both. How many times have we warned you not to wander around this forest?", he hissed in anger as he left their collar, they stood there with their head bowing in shame.

"Sorry hyung", Jia'er rubbed the back of his head, distancing himself from his elder brother.

On the cue both of them started walking towards the exit of the forest under the watchful gaze of the elder. The two young lads were busy fighting, they were back to their playfulness forgetting about the serious man following them and the awaiting punishment back home.

A growling voice from a distance caught their attention, their body going at an alert mode automatically.

"You two just keep going. We are near the borders of the forest. I will try to buy you some time", he said, pushing them to keep walking forward.

"No hyung. I am not going anywhere without you."

"Stop being Stubborn Jia'er and keep going with Jongin."

Jongin dragged his reluctant friend knowing very well how their lack of fighting skills could affect the elder's fight.

"I am warning you, whoever is hiding behind the bush to come out before I will have to injure you." He slowly started walking towards the huge wild bushes that the whole forest was covered with which gave an advantage to the demons that lived in the forest.

He heard a rustling voice behind him, making him turn around abruptly and swing his sword towards the intruder, without a proper look and second thought he flung his sword piercing a soft surface.

He stood there stunned with the sword still in his hand and stuck in the man's chest he had mistaken as a demon, a low whimper escaped from the man's lips as he fell on his knees. Sitting on his knees as the phoenix eyes met with dragon eyes, lost in each other he pulled the sword out and pressed on the wound as he helped the unknown man lean on a nearby tree, their eyes hardly leaving each other, The man had already lost a lot of blood soaking his black Hanbok, the silver thread work and the border looked red as if it was originally made in red making him look ethereal with his now open hair lying peacefully on his shoulder between all the turmoil, for the first time they both felt like something shifted in there heart, two cold heart were melting unknowingly. His own heart felt like bleeding as he saw the man bleed. He felt like Someone was twisting a knife in his heart as he pressed on the wound. He felt as if his own lungs were being squeezed as he heard the man's ragged breath. For the first time in his life, he felt like dying seeing someone else other than his family suffer.
