Zumira returned to the Goetia palace with Blitzø and Loona where all things had remained calm. Zumira escorted them in to the dining hall where Stolas had told them where they'd meet.
She opened the door and found Stolas sitting with the other two Imps.
"Zumira, I really hope by the sound of your tone that you have something." Stoles commented as the three of them joined with the rest of the group.
"So, tell me of your findings."
"Oh you won't-"
"I'd like to hear from Zumira. I did hire HER after all." Stolas interrupted.
"Oh, of course." Blitzø replied, slouching in his chair embarassingly.
Zumira sighdd, "She is still paying Striker to hunt you down for her."
"Not much of a surprise. Stella, even though she being a bitch, is still loyal at heart." Stolas murmured.
"Sir, we need to you stay safe." Zumira told Stolas.
"Which is bad timing for everything. The full moon banquet is coming up." Stolas growled shaking his head irritated.
"The full new moon banquet?" Millie asked intrigued.
"Yes, every few years there is a phenomenon where the moon is at its fullest but is also under a new moon. It is a Goetia Tradition to host One of the most extravagant balls for such an occassion." Stolas explained.
"Sir, given the circumstance, that may not be in our betlst interest." Zumira suggested, "You're in danger."
"I'm going to have to agree with Bitch face on this Stolas. This, party, doesn't sound like a good idea." Blitzø agreed.
"Regardless, I have to make Stella keep thinking I am ignorant to whatever she is planning. Especially the involvement of my daughter." Stolas sighed sadly.
"Your Highness, I think going with this party woukd be a good idea." Moxxie sided.
"Oh fuck you, Mox. Your just a spineless ass, you don't need to kiss up to him."
"Blitz, I have to go with Stolas too." Millie piped up.
Zumira thought about it, trying tonsee how it was a good idea while trying to understand why it was a bad idea, too.
"Zumira."
A voice whispered, taunting her from closed doors. She ignored them and went back to her thoughts.
"You will fail." It continued.
Zumira balled up her fists ans geitted her teeth trying to ignore the voice from behind her.
"Just as you always have." It said.
The skight touch to her shoulder caused her to recoil, slinging her gun towards whomever it was whoplaced their hand on her.
It was Stolas.
His expression filled with concern and anguish with the barrel of her gun staring straight back at him.
"Zumira."
"I'm fine. If you think this party will be a cover and keep things in the dark, Go for it. I am at your mercy." Zumira sighed and lrft the room, her hand shaking and her finger quivering iver the trigger, still ready to pull it at any given moment.
