He charges at Ayato and in a fraction of a second, he launches an attack with his sword surrounded by a large amount of Ki.

Suddenly, the sword discharges, hitting Ayato's index finger, who looks bored while yawning.

Boruto steps back for a moment, panting and frustrated. He looks at his sword, thinking of a new approach.

You're not really taking this fight seriously with me. - Ayato says, appearing behind Boruto.

Before Boruto could react, his face was slammed into the ground, creating a huge crater.

Boruto gets up from the ground, wiping the dust and blood from his face with a determined look. He knew he needed to elevate his level if he wanted any chance against Ayato, a formidable and experienced opponent.

Enough playing around. - Boruto thinks, clenching his fists. He focuses his Ki, feeling it flow through his body and fuse with electricity.

I'm going to show you what I'm capable of! - Boruto exclaims, as his aura intensifies and the ground around him starts to shake.

Ayato smiles slightly, seeming more interested now. He takes on a defensive stance, waiting for Boruto's next move.

Boruto launches himself at high speed, shattering the ground with the force of his charge.

He approaches Ayato with impressive speed, leaving sparks in the air and delivers a strong punch to Ayato.

Ayato defends himself using his arm, generating a wave of energy that turns the ground to dust, creating an immense crater.

Ayato then delivers a powerful kick to Boruto's stomach.

Boruto feels the impact of the kick and is thrown through the air, colliding with debris scattered by the newly formed crater. He quickly gets up, feeling the throbbing pain in his body.

I don't really know who you are, or what you want, but your presence tells me that I'm forgetting something important. - Boruto says as he gets up from the ground.

Ayato watches Boruto with a thoughtful look, seeming intrigued by the young ninja's words. He lowers his guard for a moment, allowing Boruto to stand up fully.

You're more perceptive than you seem. - Ayato responds, maintaining a respectful distance from Boruto.

Boruto: This feeling has been with me since this morning.

Ayato: And what does that have to do with me?
