2- Corrupted

The first thing Jay could notice as he was recovering consciousness slowly, was that he wasn't alone. He could hear a couple of people talk. Then he felt he was kneeling and held by the arms, by the two nindroids that kidnapped him, he guessed.

Kidnapped.

Jay gasped when he understood the situation and rose his head, still a bit dazed. He noticed he was in a dark place, illuminated just by a blue glow that came from two tanks, that contained things similar to electric eels. Then he noticed a purple light illuminating an anthropomorphic figure, completely dressed in white, with a hood covering their head, standing just in front of him, giving him his back.

It was the guy from the junkyard.

Jay tried to stand up, but the nindroids kept him in his place. With the sudden movement, the hooded guy turned around and makes eye contact with the blue ninja. Jay felt uneasy staring at those glowing red eyes.

The guy approached him, -I see you're awake -they say.

Jay tried to not look scared, -Where am I? What do you want from me? -he asks, with his voice as firmly as possible.

-He can answer you that -the hooded guy turns around and points to a screen, from where the purple light Jay saw before comes from.

The nindroids dragged Jay near the screen so he can see it properly. They make him kneel again and still hold him by the arms. Jay rose his head to look, and he could see two orange-yellowish smudges on the purple background, that resembled eyes. Chills went through his spine when he heard it talk:

-It is a pleasure to see you... Blue ninja... -the voice came out raspy, panting.

-Overlord... -Jay says softly.

-I appreciate that you still recognize me -he then inhales, -I'm sorry for bringing you here like this... But it was the only way.

-Just tell me, why am I here?

-Oh, I'm very impressed for all the power you hold, kid...

The hooded guy approaches and plays a video in the panel in front of Jay, of what happened earlier that day: how Jay was able to generate an electrical storm in the place, absorb all the energy as a lightning and then strike a nindroid with it, vaporizing it due to all the energy. Jay didn't comprehend the magnitude of his attack until now.

-Cryptor and the mindroid are still charged after being near you during that event... You're far better than these electrocobrai we have here... I want you and your power...

Jay gets startled at hearing the last thing, -You're wrong if you think that I will help you -he exclaims.

The disturbing laugh of the Overlord filled the place, making Jay more anxious.

-I assumed that you'd refuse to help by your own... Don't think that I didn't saw that coming... We have a backup plan...

The nindroids make Jay stand up abruptly, while the hooded guy goes towards the exit, with the intention of guiding them. Jay tried to break free again, but the nindroids hold him with more strength. Even so, he kept trying, whatever they'd do to him, he wanted to avoid it and run away to reunited with the rest of the team.

The team... Would have they noticed that he was taken away? He ran away from the junkyard after the discussion with Cole and until the moment the nindroids arrived, no one followed him.

Maybe the others didn't care he ran away, Cole said it anyways, he always complained about everything, they probably thought it was another of his tantrums and that he eventually would come back.
