Shattered soul

Prolog

No one pov:
   Kristin sends her crows after the young chaos goddess Drista, who had just stolen the soul of Lady Death's youngest son. The murder of crows was hot on Drista's tail, but the young chaos goddess had already set up everything she would need. Dogging the more dearing crows who tried to 1v1 her. Lady Death's booming voice commands the spirits nearby to help the crows in the hunt.

   However, it was too late as Drista made her way to the reincarnation station, where many old souls were waiting for their next life. Cutting through all of them, Drista found the portal that led to different worlds. It was by that time that the spirits and crows had finally caught up, but it was too late as Drista threw Tommy's broken soul in the portal. Even as the crows dragged her back to Kristin, Drista knew there was nothing Death could do anymore. In a different world, Tommy's spirit was alive.

   Drista was right as by each second that had passed in their world, Tommy's broken soul was in fast-forward. A minute in Esempi was a year in the other world, and some had even moved faster. Despite being broken, Tommy's soul was in the living realm. Something Death could not personally deal with.

   Once Death heard what Drista had done to her son's soul, she was about to tear the chaos goddess in half. However, it was at that time that XD finally decided to step in to help. XD had offered Death to use the people of Esempi to find Tommy's soul and bring it back to her. While Kristin would have loved to rip Drista apart for staring this mess, she took XD up on his offer. Sending crows to go locate Tommy's soul. XD went to go pick out who would be sent to go find the shards.

   The selection was quick and simple. All they would need was a team of four to go get the shattered pieces of Tommy's soul. So quickly kidnapping the luck selected mortals to fix Drista's mess, something she is still not sorry for. So XD went out to find the mortals needed for the job. The first was the SBI family, along with Fundy who was trying to do his job. Next was the Dream team, who all but George put up a fight, and was Bad only harder as XD had to rip the demon out of the eggs control. The snowchester group was easy enough. Sam, Foolish, Puffy, and Nikki were the last on the list, the easiest of them all, as three out of four were willing to help find Tommy's shattered soul.

   With the group all gathered up, XD left them in Death's hands as she threatened, even her own family, to find Tommy, or they'd pay the price. Four portals opened, and all of them were thrown in without much warning. Every in each group was shaked up from the summoning and the news of Tommy's death along with his soul being shattered. Dream wanted to laugh in frustration as all his plans went down the drain if they couldn't fix Tommy. Sapnap and George try to ignore their old friends' madness while Bad mumbled on about the egg.

   Snowchester and SBI weren't any better but also collected themselve slowly as they tried to focus on their surroundings. Ranboo and Tubbo tried to think positively, Jack made it clear he didn't want to be there. Though it didn't matter as they were traveling through worlds that took time. Philza just promised Kristin that he'd make sure to complete his loves request. Wilbur was stuck with his thoughts as Techno listened to the voices who made comments over the whole thing.

   Drista watched as the four groups were all still in shock over what had happened. Despite XD's plan that was seemingly safe, there was one minor thing that both gods didn't mention to the Esempi members. They are to collect Tommy's shattered soul, and to do so, they will have to kill the holders. If they were to fail, then all of Esempi would fall into absolute despair as Death would consume the lands.
