Light sits on a bench inside the Spark Society, sipping from a large white cup with the word "SLURPY!" written on it. Cloke sits on the bench opposite, looking worried.
Light says, "Can't believe your dad works for Hefesto... that could be problematic." Cloke becomes even more worried. Light continues, "I know it's hard, but haven't you thought about telling them?" Cloke immediately gets nervous, shaking his hands and saying, "No, no! Horrible idea! They probably wouldn't understand." Light reclines, saying, "Hmm."
Just then, Maria emerges from the main building and walks toward the boys. She announces, "Guys, we hit the jackpot!" Both Cloke and Light respond in unison, "Huh?!" She conjures a chair from the floor and sits down, taking out her phone to show them. "Our tracking team located a truck full of equipment for the Unity," she explains.
Both Light and Cloke peer at the phone. Cloke appears confused, while Light remains intrigued, sipping on his cup. Maria elaborates, "If we intercept this truck, we could steal some equipment for our advantage."
Light leans back, questioning, "I thought you didn't want to fight, Maria. Entering the fighting mood?" Maria chuckles and puts her phone away, replying, "Maybe, but my people can't know about this kid's master abilities."
Cloke expresses surprise, "You made that deal? Why can't they know?" Light responds, "Long story, stay quiet, kid. They'll know once you're ready."
Light tosses the cup near a trash can, but before it can miss, Maria subtly moves the can closer, so it doesn't miss.
Light stands up and turns to Maria, asking, "I assume you didn't tell us about the cargo for no reason, right?" Maria stands up and adjusts the floor, saying, "Correct. I want both of you to intercept this cargo. It should be an easy mission for the kid to use his powers."
Excitement washes over Cloke as he stands up, exclaiming, "Huh?! My first real mission?" Light pats Cloke's shoulder, saying, "Come on, kid. Maria sent me the details over the phone." Cloke eagerly follows Light, his excitement building.
A few hours later, Cloke, wearing his mask, and Light find themselves on a rooftop, overlooking a parked truck situated in a warehouse.
Curious, Cloke asks, "Why don't we attack now?" Light provides an explanation, "This could be a Pantheon-controlled warehouse. Attacking now might be risky. It's better to intercept the truck when it's in motion." Cloke nods, absorbing the strategy, and continues to keep watch.
Inside the warehouse, we observe two guards engrossed in paperwork. A tall figure stands before them, overseeing their activities. The guard's hand over a piece of paper to the tall individual, requesting his signature.
This person wears a mask adorned with a drawn wolf. One of the guards addresses him, saying, "Hey Mr. Ares, we've got some heavy equipment here. We were wondering if you could oversee us—" The other guard cuts in, embarrassed, and interjects, "Dude! Pay no mind to him! We're more than capable!" Ares steps closer to them and affirms, "I will look over you..." He then turns, fixing a fierce gaze on them, and adds, "Orders from the boss."
After a while the truck starts moving and Light tells Cloke who is lying on the roof tired "Cloke, is in motion prepare" Cloke stands up with a big jump excited "Finally! Some action!" They start running up the roof following the truck.
Cloke asks "Hey Light, I was thinking while lying down, what if this is a trap?" Light continues running "If it is we will call for backup, we can't lose opportunities like this, if this isn't a trap we will be settle in equipment!" Cloke looks at the truck worried and continues following it.
