Sword Art Online: Sora's Story

Chapter 1: Saitou Sora

Other than than the smell of fresh air, Saitou Sora liked weekends. No school, the chance to go out with his friends, but best of all, no bullies. When he arrived home, Sora got changed into his usual clothing: black jeans and a dark blue t-shirt with black shoes and a black jacket with a red rose and a Keyblade going through it. After he got changed, he went over to his best friend's house. When he knocked the door, the door opened, and a tall boy was standing in the doorway. "Hey Vesper!" Sora said. "Hey Sora!" Said Vesper Blaze. Vesper Blaze wore a plain black tracksuit with 2 Katanas and a dark red rose on top of each other as an emblem on the back and front left parts of the tracksuit jacket. He had short jet black hair with red highlights going through them. "So, how have you been?" Vesper asked. "I've been ok. VR gaming as usual." Sora replied. "How is Blake coping with the death of Adam?" Sora asked. "Pretty well actually!" Vesper replied. "So, fancy a spot of VRMMORPG?" Vesper asked. (VRMMORPG stands for Virtual Reality Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) "Sure!" Sora replied. "Have you pre-ordered SAO yet?" Sora asked, with interest. "Yeah, I have. Why?" Vesper asked. "Because I can't wait to play it again!" (Vesper and Sora were Beta Testers for the Beta version of SAO) "Me neither!" Vesper replied. "Any way, what game do you want to play Sora?" "I think this calls for a spot of Alfheim!" Sora replied, with excitement. "Good choice!" Vesper said. "I'll set up the chambers and the NerveGears!" Sora said. Two minutes later, the chambers and the NerveGears were ready. So Sora and Vesper went into the medical chambers and turned on the NerveGears. "Link Start!" Sora and Vesper shouted and they fell into a deep sleep because the were now in the VRMMORPG world of Alfheim Online.

Sora and Vesper woke up from their deep sleep after going full-dive in Alfheim Online. "Wow! I sure liked that quest!" Vesper said. "Hey, Sora? What date is it today?" "Oh my god! Its the 22nd November 2022! do you realise what this is?!??!" Sora said. "Today is the day that Sword Art Online is gonna be released!" Vesper jumped up in excitement. "Yes!!!" Vesper said. "Has the game been posted yet?" Sora checked the mail. "Yeah! It has! Here!" Sora replied, then he gave the game pack of Sword Art Online to Vesper. "Thanks!" Vesper said as he opened the game pack and inserted the game disc into the consoles for the NerveGears. "Ok! Now that the game is inserted, fancy breakfast before we go in?" Vesper asked. "Yeah! Thanks!" Sora replied as they went out of the gaming chamber. Two minutes later, they were back. "Uh, Vesper?" Sora said. "When are you gonna replace the liquid food canisters? We've run out." With a click of Vesper's fingers, robotic arms appeared and replaced the canisters. "Well! That was quick!" Sora exclaimed. Then Sora and Vesper got their medical chambers ready and played a little bit of Kingdom Hearts. It was 3 hours before the SAO servers were ready. So Sora and Vesper went into the medical chambers and turned the NerveGears on. Then they closed the doors of the medical chambers. "Link Start!!!" They both said as they went into the world of Sword Art Online...
