Rome

This was also inspired by a video by A&B things on YouTube. Their son fell from a high chair and hit his head on the edge of a hard surface. He fell asleep in the car and he suddenly wouldn't wake up. He's ok though, he's healthy and he's alive :)

I drove as fast as I could while my wife, Bianca diled up 911.

I felt tears stream down my eyes. I just hope nothing is happening to my baby, Nia. Clearly Bianca wasn't playin around.

"Yes! My daughter isn't waking up!" Bianca panted as she yelled into the phone, clearly stressed.

I looked into the rear view mirror to see Nia still knocked out. I moved my eyes to her mother, Bianca who covered her phone speaker and leaned nearer to the drivers seat. "Rome, stop the car and tell me what street we're on!?".

I stopped the car and leaned forward, ducking my head so I could see the sign from above.

"We on the **** street!" I replied.

Bianca took her hand off the speaker and put her phone closer to her mouth. "We're on **** street on the side of the road....yes we're pulled over, just hurry the fuck up with the emergency people!".

I looked back at Bianca while holding Nia's small hand tightly.

About 4-6 ambulance cars surrounded our jeep as the paramedics jumped out of the car 1 by one.

I reached over to unlock the car as the paramedic opened it. The first person she set her eyes on was Nia.

She reached out and dragged the carseat out of the car with Nia in it, setting her on the jeep roof.

More paramedics came and backed up the 1st lady.

I turned to check up on Bianca but she was already screaming and talking to a paramedic literally a few inches away from our car.

I got out of the car and went behind the lady who checked Nia's pulse and waved her hand in her face.

I held Bianca in my arms as she sobbed on my shoulder. We sat in the waiting room all alone while they rushed Nia to a room.

"It's ok...." I rubbed her shoulder as tears ran down my face.

"It's not okay! My fucking daughter isn't waking up and these paramedics are acting like pussys! They wanna be acting scary like they don't know how to solve the problem!?" Bianca yelled, pulling out of my arms and waving her hands around aggressively.

I nodded, understanding how much pain she was in. She already suffered stress and risk of losing the baby when she was pregnant with Nia, she didn't want another thing to happen to Nia.

Bianca

I felt my heart ache thinking about my daughter. She was only 4! I can't let this happen.

I got up quickly from the couch and stormed towards the room I saw them go in with Nia.

I stomped inside the room to see my baby Nia awake with a breathing mask on. I gasped as I broke down into tears and ran over to her.
