「 Birthday Present 」

Rui and Tsukasa were together in Rui's room. He invited Tsukasa to his house after school as he needed help with planning for the next show and other things while they were at it.

Both of them were busy focusing on whatever work they had. Rui was writing formulas for various stage effects, like lightning striking down. While Tsukasa was sketching out flyers thinking of how to promote the Wonder Stage.

And then..an idea popped in Rui's head, he glanced at the yellow haired boy focused at his work who was looking down and thinking of what would make the flyer stand out. Completely ignoring anything and only looking at his paper and pencil.

Rui's POV:

he looks so cute when he's focused, I thought while staring at the boy beside him.

"Nee, Tsukasa-kun." I called out to him.

The boy didn't budge and continued to do his work.

I reached my hand out and lightly tapped his shoulder to try and get his attention.

"Ah- sorry, what were you saying?"

Tsukasa finally noticed me. He looked confused. I then reached for something in my pocket, rummaging through it.

"Remember this?"

I showed Tsukasa a piece of paper with something written in it. It said:

"Birthday Present for Rui
Tsukasa Tenma
I'll do anything you ask Ticket!"

It was quite an adorable letter, it had chibi drawings and cutesy handwriting. I chuckle every time I see it.

"That's the present I gave you at your birthday! Have you finally thought about was to ask me?"

"His eyes lit up.. I noticed he often expresses his emotions well, like a book ready to be read."

And then I let out a smile, a sign something was about to happen.

"Can you do something for me?"

Tsukasa's POV:

"E-eh!??!? EEEH??? How could I possibly do something so lewd!?"

I yelled out uncontrollably, objecting the absurd request. I could feel my face heat up and sure enough it was pink, red even.

Are my ears playing tricks on me? Haha..!
But sadly, my ears were working just fine.

"Aww..I even made these myself too..."

Rui looked at me with dissapointment. Even looking a bit teary-eyed.

Urgh..those eyes..

"Don't look at me like that! A-and you made these? Why- I'm not even gonna question it"

"Why the fuck would Rui even have the time- let alone the reason on why he would make... these..?!"
