Chapter 18

I woke up in the early morning while Derek was still asleep. I really wanted to talk to him about our future. I brushed my hair and put on a navy bralette and some high waisted cheeky shorts from BDG. I then added my white low top converse and grabbed my white bag. I decided to go grocery shopping. I looked at the car that said Kurt's on it again and remembered what I thought about last time. I then tried shaking the thought of it out of my head again. I grabbed Dirk Cobain (cat) because I wanted him to get his shots. I then grabbed the keys to my dads use to be car and decided to clean it out and yes it did make me sad seeing so much empty heroin. I just threw it all in a trash bag and left it in the garage. I then checked to see if it had enough gas and it had just enough to get to a gas station and fill it all the way up. I put Dirk on my lap as I drove to the gas station. I got a lot of looks but I didn't mind. Some guys are just so gross especially that old man in his new Porsche.

"Hey mama" he said to me and whistled.

"First of all I'm not a dog so don't whistle at me. Next I have more money than you so I don't care about money. Third don't call me that, how would your wife feel" I said to him while putting gas in my car. When it was done I drove to the vet near by to get Dirk his shots.

At Vet

"Hi I'm Kathrine Cobain and I just wanted to bring my cat Dirk in for some shots and anything else he needs."

"Oh here you can just give him to me and the vet will do everything" she said.

"Oh thank you so much. I'm just gonna be down the street to get some groceries" I said.

"No problem, oh and I love Nirvana and your boyfriends band, Error" she said. Yes Error is there band name.

"Thanks" I said to we while handing my cat and then walking across the street to whole foods. I decided to get these energy drinks, strawberries, chocolate spread, and Mac n cheese, I then decided to get a panini maker and stuff for the panini and stuff for salad and stuff like drinks and tea and I got a lot of cocoanut water and cat food.

"Do you want me to carry these to your cart?" The man asked.

"Yeah thanks" I said and he carried alt and I carried two of them.

"You can just put it in my trunk" I said, I then gave him a four dollar tip.

I then went back to the vet and Dirk was all done.

"Thank you for coming. Dirk needed a lot of medicine but is all better now so the total is $120" she said. I then payed it and held Dirk in my arms.

"Can I buy like a cat bed and like a blanket for him?" I asked.

"Here you an have it for free" the lady said.

"Thank you so much" i said. I then put Dirk in my lap with the blanket and petted him while driving back home.f

"Hey babe" I said to him while kissing his cheek and bringing him to the table were I set up the food and drinks.

"Wow what's all this" he said.

"I just wanted to make some food" i said with a smile.

"Did you go out like that?" He asked.

"Yeah what's wrong with it?"

"It's just shows a lot of skin since its like a bra, I don't want people getting to see thing that I should only see" he said. I smiled and kissed him.

"Hi baby Dirk" Derek said to Dirk while picking him up while Dirk was trying to sleep and Dirk covered his face with his paws and it was so cute. he then put Dirk back down and we are the yummy food I made. After we ate I grabbed Dirk and sat on the couch while watching a movie with Derek. I then held Derek's hand while his other hand had his phone in it.

"Derek can we talk?" I asked. He looked nervous.

"Sure" he said.

"Do you ever want to you know settle down and maybe have kids?" I could tell he was feeling uncomfortable.

"Yeah but like not now it's just too soon. I still want to you know live my life." he said.

"I get it but I want to grow up. I feel like a teenager. You and I can live here together like adults and raise children" I said.

"I don't want that right now" he said.

"Okay when do you want it. do you want it when your like 30" I said.

"I don't know I just have so much stuff that I want to do" he said while I played with his hair.

"Okay well I'm ready" I said.

"Maybe you should find someone who is ready to um settle" he said. I looked at him like he was crazy.

"What?"

"I'm not ready but you are. you should find someone who is" he said.

"No Derek we shouldn't break up just because we disagree on something we should you know talk it out. If we love each other and we want to make it work then we need to talk to each other."

"Okay let's say we did have a kid. I wouldn't want to raise it in this house where it could find like heroin and wonder what it is. I would want to live in LA" he said.

"I get it I just want this house because LA is just so superficial, and I don't want our child to be like that" I said.

"Okay but we don't have a child yet" he said.

"You know what fine" I said while getting up and starting to cry a little bit. I picked up Dirk from Derek's hands and walked upstairs.

Derek's POV

I just don't feel like growing up right now. She started crying and took Dirk from me while walking up stairs. I but my lip watching her go upstairs because her shorts are so short. Hey I'm a guy and she so hot.

Katherine's POV

I went to the room and stopped crying. I laid on the bed curled in a little ball. I then felt Derek crawl up next to me.

"Hey don't be sad" he said and smacked my butt.

"Hey" I said while giving him the seriously look and he laughed. I can never stay mad at him. I started laughing with him.

"I feel like going sky diving" Derek said.

"Right now" I said.

"Yeah" he said.

"That's scary but I've been wanting to do it for a while too" I said.

"And that's why I love you. You try new things, that you may not even want to do but you still do it because you love me" he said and I smiled.

"You've been hanging out with me way to much" I said and we both laughed.
