Al was getting extremely annoyed. If he heard another "Scarlet story" he was going to blow a fuse. Scar...little miss goody two shoes. How he loathed the woman. He couldn't exactly tell what the reason for his loathing was since everyone seemed to adore her, probably it was her bossy attitude or maybe it was her impulsive and eccentric personality but deep down inside he knew those weren't the reasons behind his so-called dislike, it was the way she would completely ignore him when he was in a room. The last time he saw her was at their best friends' wedding. Although she was maid of honor and he was best man they hardly said two words to each other, not even when they sat across from each other at dinner or posed for pictures. He couldn't figure out why this bothered him since women hardly held his thoughts for longer than a night but this one made him fumed. But the wedding was lovely thanks to the wedding planner Scarlet. God knows how the woman found time to do everything but she did and he enjoyed the day's festivities. He was happy for his friend and a bit envious but at last his pal had found love. As for Al with a demanding profession like his and his inability to keep a relationship further than his bed, marriage would be impossible. But the thought of settling down fluttered across his mind constantly. If he really wanted to he could since his contract was almost up, he could just resign and do consulting or freelancing. Al knew it would prove hard to give up his life of solitude, having lost his parents in a plane crash ten years ago all he has left is his older brother Dravin who now lives in their parents' house with his family. Alvin Hennessey was a loner but lately he has liked the idea of having someone around to share his life with and not just his bed. But Scarlet Blair was not on his list of possible candidates. He just wanted her to get here quickly so they could have dinner then he would go home and forget this night. Just then the door burst open and judging from what he saw he doubts he will be able to forget this night...
