Third perspective

You walked purposefully to the bridge, drawn by the glistening river below and the sunny day ahead. It felt like the start of a perfect day.

"Wow, this is a great way to begin," you thought aloud, a smile forming on your lips. "It's hard to imagine anything going wrong on a day like this."

Your words hung in the air until a sudden sound shattered the calm. A loud slap echoed from the other end of the bridge, breaking the peaceful atmosphere.

"I've had enough of you, Ataru Moroboshi!" a voice filled with frustration and anger cut through the tranquility.

The sudden outburst was a stark reminder that even in the midst of nature's calm, human emotions could disrupt the serenity.

"Shinobu, wait! It's not what you think!" Ataru's words rushed out, a mix of desperation and sincerity in his voice.

He managed to reach Shinobu's hand, capturing her attention with a determined grip. "Shinobu, I only have eyes for you. I'd never betray your trust."

The shock on her face gradually shifted to surprise and emotion, leaving her momentarily speechless.

She stammered, cheeks reddening with a mixture of embarrassment and inner turmoil. "Alright, let's try to work this out." A shy smile tugged at her lips, revealing a vulnerability beneath her initial sternness.

As the heartfelt exchange unfolded, you watched, offering a knowing yet amused comment. "How many times has Shinobu forgiven Ataru?"

Your observation added a layer of perspective to the scene, reflecting the complexity of their relationship.

With the air cleared, Shinobu and Ataru found resolution, while you remained on the sidelines. A women that jogging caught Ataru's attention as he ogled the person passing by.

"Wow, look at her," Ataru exclaimed, lacking any subtlety.

Shinobu's palm met Ataru's cheek with a resounding slap. His surprise was evident as he stumbled. As he flies in ragdoll like a cartoon.

Beside him, you offered an understanding but reproachful remark. "You can't objectify women like that, especially if Shinobu is your girlfriend."

Ataru sighed in reluctant agreement. "You're right. I've been pretty dumb."

As Ataru leaned against the bridge's fence, you stood there as a steadfast friend, offering a comforting presence.

"Don't be too hard on yourself," you reassured. "People can change."

With the river flowing below, you and Ataru stood on the bridge, a blend of past friendships and present camaraderie intertwining.

Suddenly, a shrill scream shattered the air, Ataru urgent plea not jump off the bridge. "Wait! Don't do anything foolish!" the man who told Ataru not to jump who instead pushed him off the bridge.
Y/N quick reflexes saved him from falling by grabbing Ataru hand. But sadly, you are not strong enough to lift Ataru up.

"Hang on! You're heavy!" Y/N strained, trying pulling Ataru back from the edge. But their struggle led to both falling into the water.

Emerging from the water, you and Ataru quickly dried off, the memory of the misadventure clinging to your soaked clothes.

"Why'd you do that!?" Ataru's irritation was palpable.

"I thought you were about to jump," the man who pushed them explained, concern in his voice.

"You practically pushed me off!" Ataru retorted.

The man shared his name, Cherry, and his reasoning for his actions. Ataru's frustration found an outlet as he gave Cherry a piece of his mind because Cherry said Ataru have a terrible face.

"Honestly, Ataru's face isn't that bad. I think he looks fine," you chimed in playfully, lightening the tense atmosphere.

"Whatever, I'll just go home," Ataru muttered, walking away. Your wave went unnoticed due to Ataru's annoyance at being pushed earlier.

"He's always like that," you noted, continuing on your way home. Suddenly, a man in a black suit approached, asserting that you must go with them. It was clear that they were government agents.

"Did I do something wrong?" You panicked, recalling your past actions. "It's not about your past. This is more important," the agent reassured.

Arriving home, you were met with reporters and cameras. Your mother hurriedly guided you inside, shielding you from the invasive attention.

Entering your family room, an astonishing sight greeted you – a giant oni stood there with a welcoming smile. "Welcome home!" its booming voice was unexpectedly warm. Your disbelief was evident, "What on earth?!"
