A/N: You know what, I've been lately thinking. Which one came out first? Orange fruits or the color?

Seated side by side behind giant metal pipe, you and Ataru engaged in conversation, the sounds bunch of kids playing a baseball game on the background.

"Would you stop following me around?" Ataru's frustration was evident as he addressed Cherry. Lately, Cherry had taken to following both of you and Ataru, a peculiar presence that seemed to insert itself into their activities.

"But your face looks ominous today," Cherry commented, lifting his hat with his hand as he addressed Ataru. Ataru's response was immediate, his annoyance clear. "I'm sick of you saying that!"

Curiosity piqued by Cherry's description, you turned to Cherry and asked, "What do you mean by 'ominous' when you say Ataru's face looks that way?". Cherry explained that he sensed something important might happen to Ataru, causing you to worry about your friend.

"Come on, Y/N. Let's just go home. Everything he said is just nonsense," Ataru stated, getting back on his feet and urging you to do the same. As you both prepared to leave, a sudden interruption occurred – a baseball ball that almost hit Ataru. Reacting swiftly, you relied on your strong reflexes to catch the ball before it hit Ataru's head.

"Hey, kid! Next time, play more carefully!" you then gently trow the baseball ball at them. Admonished the young players engaged in their baseball game. Your firm words carried a sense of warning, emphasizing the need for caution in their actions.

Ataru's bad luck struck again as another ball hit his head. You chuckled and told him, "Sorry, man. Couldn't catch that one."

As the evening darkened, Ataru reached his house, and you bid him farewell before heading your own way. Once inside his home, Ataru's arrival was not met without further intrigue – he noticed Cherry, the wandering monk, still tagging along.

"What the hell are you doing, coming into my house?" Ataru's annoyance was palpable as he questioned Cherry's presence within his abode.

Resignedly, Ataru and Cherry made their way to the family room for dinner. Amidst their meal, Cherry began to explain his reasoning for following Ataru. "Well, you see, the shadow of bad luck on your face seems to be worsening, and I can't help but worry that—" Cherry's words were cut short as Ataru abruptly left the room, his exasperation evident as he declared, "Would you stop eating or just shut up!?" The tumultuous interaction between the two emphasized the strained yet somehow endearing dynamic they shared.

"You haven't finished your food yet, have you? There's still food left," Cherry attempted to convince Ataru to finish his own food. However, Ataru's response was swift and unyielding. "Looking at your face is ruining my appetite!" he retorted, his words laced with a blend of annoyance and exasperation.

Ataru go to his own room, yet Cherry persisted, doggedly following him. "Hey! Didn't I already tell you not to follow me?" Ataru's frustration was evident as he tilted his head back.

"How much longer are you planning to stick around?" Ataru asked Cherry, a mix of curiosity and irritation in his tone. "Just go to sleep and ignore me. I'll be sitting here for the night," Cherry replied, sitting with his knees pulled up

"ALL RIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH GE-" As Ataru attempted to kick Cherry out of his house, Cherry swiftly interjected, cutting off his sentences.

"You DOLT! Don't you UNDERSTAND? I'll be staying awake all night to PROTECT you!" Cherry was having enough of Ataru.

Amidst the argument between Ataru and Cherry, a surprise twist unfolded. Y/N suddenly appeared at the window, casually chiming in, "Hey, what's up, Beijing?" (get the meme?)
