Focus (SakuAtsu)

chapter 9

Atsumu's pov:

After Omi-Omi left, Iwazumi says that he has to get going because him and Sakusa were going to hang out because they haven't seen each other for a while. We say our goodbyes and part ways, well not me and Kawa. We decided to hang out as our significant others had ditched us even though we are as single as can be but it always good to dream.

We both head to my dorm and made ourselves comfortable. "So how well do you know Sakusa then?", Oikawa asked. "Oh..well I met him when me and Samu went to Tokyo for the weekend as Samu wants to open up a restraunt after he is finished with volleyball. So I guess not that well?", I replied questioning myself. "Ooo so how'd you meet?", Kawa asked again even more intrigued. "Well I went to go to an empty gym as my brother had his stuff to do and when I got there there was nobody there except for Omi. I mean I had recognized that he was The Sakusa Kiyoomi so I wanted to set for him so I asked and he said sure whatever. Then after like 45 minutes more people started to come in and he left so I left with him. He barely talked to me unless I made the conversation and he sometimes looked annoyed whenever I would smirk or smile at him after flirting or sometimes if I did nothing but I guess you can say that we did actually hang out most of the day", I replied to kawas question. "You know I think he might like you more than you think he does", I hear Oikawa reassure. "Why do you think that?", I asked a little confused. "Well he didn't exactly turn you away and any normal person would tell someone to go away if they didn't want them there", he explained. "I mean I guess you're right", I muffled kinda releaved.

"Well there's definitely one thing I know", Oikawa expressed. "What?", I questioned. "BEATING YOU AT MARIO CART!", Kawa declared. "NO I'M GOING TO BEAT YOU!", I declared back.

Sakusa's pov:

Iwazumi caught up with me and we decided to go to the music store to purchase some instruments as we want to start a band. And yes we are still going to play volleyball but in our free time we will have jamming sessions just to let out our feelings out instead of bottling them up. We got to the shop and we were discussing what instruments we can play and what would work the best for us. In the end, I ended up choosing the role of lead singer as well as playing the keyboard. Meanwhile Iwa was gonna do back up vocals as well as playing the guitar. We purchased the instruments and everything we needed then we drived back to the dorms.

We started to walk back to my dorm as Iwa's dorm was literally 2 doors down from mine and we were going to hang out more. We had left the instruments and all that in my car so we could set it up when we want to practice but first we need to write a song before we do that. I opened the door to find Oikawa and Atsumu playing Mario cart without me. Like I'm the best player ever (not to brag). "How dare you guys play Mario cart without me", I half yell offended.

They immediately turned around and was definitely surprised that I said that of all people. I storm to my bag and get a controller yelling, "Im going to completely annihilate you fucks". They had no clue what was going on but they snapped out of it and replied with, "Game on". "Hey I want in on this", Iwazumi announced grabbing the spare controller I had and sat next to me waiting for the game to start.

3rd person pov:

They all got in position and got comfy. Sakusa and Iwazumi were sat on the bed while Atsumu and Oikawa were sat on the floor in front of them. When the first game started, there was shouting and cheering especially from Sakusa. Sakusa got first place and yelled, "In your guys face! ".
At that minute Komori barged open the door and screamed, "what's with all the noise". Komori knew straight after he looked at what was on the screen. "SAKUSA KIYOOMI. Im so disappointed in you". Sakusa looked to the opposite side of were Komori was. "Why are you disappointed in him?", Atsumu asked. "Well when Sakusa would want to play Mario cart and I let him, he would always win, get overly excited and smash his controller onto the ground. At first I thought it was a casual burst of excitment but the second time he threw his controller at the tv screen and broke both the tv and the controller because he would get over excited and not think about his actions. After, I had to take the game off him and now your playing Mario cart with him which, is going to end in disaster".

Everyone looked to Sakusa and started to piss themselves laughing. "Ya really did that Omi-Omi?! ", Tsumu asked still laughing his head off. Sakusa didn't say anything until his alarm went off. "Well it's time for you guy to go so cya", Sakusa rushed the three out before slamming the door in their faces. Now it was just him and Atsumu. "You should probably go to sleep now so you're fully rested for tomorrows game", Sakusa stated. "Awww does Omi Omi care about my well being~", Atsumu teased. " pfft no I want you to be fully on your game tomorrow as you are playing against my team", Sakusa corrected. "Whatever helps you sleep at night~", Atsumu once again teased. Sakusa just rolled his eyes and collapsed on his bed and immediately fell asleep. Atsumu then walked to his own bed and got all comfy and with that he fell asleep as well.
