Cadijah has her fair share of followers online since her brother's apart of a big basketball team. She hangs out at the court sometimes watching the boys play and show off but she watches more specifically one, but who cares, for now.

"Yo dijah wake up we're going for breakfast then practice." "I'm not going." She groaned rolling over from facing her brother. Cj tugged her sheets right off of her and walked out. "Dad said come on, get yo lazy ass up." He chuckled walking out. She rolled her eyes and rushed in the bath.

In the car.

"You letting Cj drive and not me? That's some bias shit."
"He loves me more that's all, ain't no need to be jealous."
"All you two gon do is quarrel? I love you both equally."
"Hey um dad can you pay for my costume for Beyonce's show? It's next Saturday." Cadijah said looking down in her phone chewing gum. Her father responded saying he would.
"You one spoiled little rat."
"You puta-"
"Watch your mouth."
She clicked her tongue and went back to her phone minding her business.
They ate breakfast at the diner which Camden had to sit through and watch his children bicker on and on but  eventually they headed to drop Cj off. "Dijah, give this to Coach ike your brother might lose it time he steps out the car." "Shit man, I'm standing right here you know." Cj said rolling his eyes. She took the envelope and walked next to her brother. Even though she's one year younger Cj always felt like the youngest. Maybe because she's mature? Oh what was he thinking, her goofy ass was far from mature. "Hey you good?" She asked her brother who was staring nowhere as they walked in. "Yeah just thinking." "Thinking bout these nuts." Cadijah laughed only making her brother scoff at her stupid jokes.
The two walked into the gym and the boys were on the benches getting ready.
That one tall, brown eye light skinned Puerto Rican boy caught her eye but she rubbed it off as she walked to Ike. She only stayed there for a few seconds talking to him and then turned to leave.

As she was walking out he jogged up to her turning her around. "Hey um, there's a party at Royale's tonight, you coming right?" She knew he was nervous, as to the way he scratched the back of his neck. "Why? You asking me to come with you?" Nick smiled. "Yeah sure, sure if that's what you want?" "It's fine, sure I'll come, my brother was going either ways so I'll just ride with him. Now stop being a goof and go focus on Basketball. See you tonight." Her smile did something to him.
"Ouiiii Mendez gotta crush on someone's sister!" Drew yelled out running to the court with Nick right on his tail. Camden only rolled his eyes bouncing the ball onto the court.
"Dad can we go shopping please." She begged her dad who was now in the driver's seat. Camden admits he can't say no to his daughter. Every sense her mom passed away his daughter always protected her feelings, just locked away with a key and he try's to be there for her as much as she needs, his little girl was getting so big.

At the store

"Dad it's a party and I'm almost 18, I'm not a little girl anymore." She complained as she was looking through the racks with her father sitting waiting for her. "Ok ok whatever hurry up I've got a date." Cadijah turned around smiling. "A date huh? We have to shop for you! Come on!" She took his had and went to the isle with the blazers. Camden just rolled his eyes and went along with it.

"That's what you're wearing? It's a party not a strip club." "Cj. You're serious? I look bad for real? I worked hard to pick this out." "I'm joking you look nice you sensitive freak." He hugged his sister who looked like she was almost about to burst into tears.
"Come on let's go I'm driving." Camden Junior said. They both told their dad bye and also good luck for his date. "Dad, compliment her, talk about her passion and what she wants to do-." "Ok Dijah, he gets it let's go." Cj said having to drag her.
