"There's daddy Ni." She said pointing as she let Nijah stand on her while she sat. The stands were crazy tonight and she was on the side cheering for Nick who was in the Vanderbilt's team on the court. Nijah clapped excitedly seeing him on the court playing wonderfully with 6 seconds left on the clock. At the last second he got a hard ass dunk in with his team mates surrounding him and celebrating. They won 53- 40.
"Nick Mendez can we have an interview." A reporter of ESPN said. He nodded and placed a towel around his neck. "Your game was wonderful and we would like to know if you'll be joining the NBA soon." "Um yeah I hope to, as soon as offers come in I'll be looking."
"Who do you hope to play for the most."
"I mean I love my team now but the Lakers would be an honor."
"One more question there."
"Shoot."
"How old is your daughter N'e'jah if I'm correct."
He laughed at how in their business reporters got but played it cool for the media. "Nijah." He said correcting her name. "Just turned 2 on October 1st."
"That's great to hear ok well good luck Nick Mendez."
"Appreciate you man." He then left with his manager right behind him.

"Nick Nick can you sign my hat?" A little boy said. He took the marker and gladly did for him and a couple other people to. Nick went to the locker room and changed off walking out with his bag on his back. "Look Ni." Cadijah pointed as Nick walked out. She could move fast as hell, probably got that one from Nick to. Nick kissed his baby girl and then Cadijah. "You laid that shit down on the court." Nick smiled and kissed his girlfriend. "Gracias mami." They walked to the car and he buckled in Nijah into her seat and closed the door for Dijah. "You know after all these years you still do that?" "What?" He said closing his car door starting the engine. "Close my door." "Cause you're my wife ain't you?" She smiled and nodded. Nijah's speech was getting better and she couldn't get enough of talking. So she asked for food. "Ask in Spanish mami, what do you say?" She is bilingual after all so to be fluent in 2 languages would be easier for her when she meets her Puerto Rican side of the family, plus some of Dijah's family spoke it too. Nijah played with her ear trying to remember her Spanish words even though English was easier. "Puedo tener McDonald's?"
"Si tu puedes bebe." She giggled at how proud of herself she was. "Good job baby." Cadijah said looking into the rear view mirror smiling.
"You spoil her so much you know." Cadijah said as Nick gave Nijah a couple of fries from her meal until they got home. "What's a dad's duty if not to spoil." She hummed as she just fell into his touch on her thigh.

Later into the night Nijah was taken out of the bath and wrapped up into a towel as Cadijah sat her down on the floor. "Go up on the bed with daddy so I can find your clothes Ni." Nick opened his arms for his girl and she jumped up on him. He repeatedly kissed her all over her face while she laughed uncontrollably. "Papi." Dijah said handing him the clothes since she was already with him. "And there, it has a hoodie."
"Time to go to your room Ni." She whined latching onto Nick and he gave Cadijah puppy eyes. "You two drive me mad." She said rolling her eyes and cuddling up to the same two. Nijah was situated on Nick's chest and down, mainly behind his stomach while Cadijah laying on his shoulder. One hand being around Dijah while the other on top his toddler who he was soothing to sleep. Nick turned to face Cadijah as she was moving hair out of Nijah's face but then looked up at Nick. "What?" "Look at us, our family, our house, this was all us." She smiled and pecked him on his lips. "From having sex irresponsibly to this." "It was all about the sex huh? I knew my back shots were great." "Nickk." She laughed covering his mouth knowing Nijah would repeat anything he said.
