*Background: At age nine, Kori's parents were killed in front of her and her siblings. Subsequently, she was kidnapped by the man responsible, as well as his followers. She escaped at the age of 14, five years later, and was reunited with her siblings who had been taken in by their grandparents. After the death of her grandparents, the Stormshadow siblings were taken in by their uncle, who had been absent from their lives due to his role in the government, until they were of age and were able to assume responsibilities within their large family company "Stormshadow Global"
