The unknown boy spoke , as he lifted his umbrella
Meixiang stood there in confusion
Who might he be?
- excuse me, do I know you? - she finlly dared to ask
- surely we haven't met each other - he answered
- w-what brings you at this hour, it's freezing cold. Would you like to come in? - meixiang offered to the stranger, who smiled in response
Meixiang took a look at the stranger now that she could see him , the boy was around her age or maybe a year older. He had dark hair and eyes , sharp face features , yet such a gentle smile
The girl handed him a spare clothes , so he could change after the bath ,meanwhile she prepared a small dinner and two cups of hot tea , so they could warm up
- so , uhm... would you mind sharing something about you ? - meixiang spoke after clearing her throat
- ah , you might have lots of questions, right... go ahead , I'll answer all of them - he said taking a sip of the tea
- to begin with.. what about your name? You already know mine , so do you mind introducing yourself?
- Wang Yixiang or you could call me nicholas, whatever is comfortable with you of course- he answered
- Well, i guess you must have something to discuss with me about. What brings you here after all? - meixiang asked nervously
- I'm aware of everything you've been trough for the past six months , I could say... I've been keeping eye on you even a little longer... so I- he was interrupted by the girl who jumped into wrong conclusion
- but you said we've never met before.. is this some kind of joke? What are you up to and who sent you ? - meixiang stood up from her seat and asked with a mixed expression of confusion and anger on her face
- don't get me wrong, I'm just somebody who wants to help you.... - nicholas tried to explain
- there isn't anything you could do for me... I would appreciate it if we part ways by tomorrow -meixiang replied , as her eyes were fixed on the floor before reaching out to the door
- let's talk about it, i mean no harm , please - he said , trying to assure the girl he doesn't have bad intentions
- your room is upstairs, on the left. Rest well
Meixiang was tired and exhausted, she laid on her bed
She just let a complete stranger in her house, a man
A man , who says he wants... to help her...
What was she thinking
He looked suspicious in first place
In the worst case he would robber the house by the morning
How worse could it possibly be?
Drown in her thoughts , before she could realise
Meixiang had fallen asleep...
